You would think so. We can’t go into this game with the bench named and Luai out.
I wouldn't think so unless Staines is gonna come on as an impact prop. Maybe I've just wants to dunk on the Eels

Which of our players would have baulked up?it isn't that it is inflated in NRL just the timing,
Usually these profiles are done very early in pre-season, So players bulk up across the season
Which of our players would have baulked up?
Normally they hit their ideal playing weight by round 1. The club than ensures they stay at that weight and skin folds and the complex body measurements systems these days.
Id say that after every game or the following recover day theyd be assessed individually.
Only that would have baulked up are the guys on specific programs. Maybe taylan, tago, staines. Spencer probs hasnt baulked up but maybe stayed same weight but lost a bit of fat for muscle..
During the season isnt a time to be baulking up unless it is really required..
Having said that id be suprised if staines and taylan added more than 1 or 2kgs through the season.
Almost all our others would pretty much weigh the same in rd 1 to rd 25 unless injured half the year etc
Is adding weight a good thing? The lower end guys. Soni Luke is a perfect example, Came into the year in his 1st pre-season. No doubt has gained some weight

The sport’s scientists the club employ are all over such issues so you and I would have no idea about what the right course of action is for any given player. Some may
need to add muscle mass, weight while others may need to loss weight so as not to compromise there speed, acceleration etc. Soni Luke is what he is, is adding a few kilos going to add value to what he offers I don’t think so. He really isn’t a perfect example, far from it. Perhaps young Geyer may benefit from a few additional kilos but let’s leave it to our sports scientists they know better than you or I.
They’ll be in his face all night, late hits etc , we’ll need plan B if it’s looking a bit roughTomorrow night is going to be a tough game.
It is desperation stakes for the Eel’s, they just have to get the two point otherwise there season is f**ked basically.
interesting, I really have no idea how this game is going to pan out.
Perhaps a game where Nathan really stamps his mark. I think if we are going to win this one it will be off the back of a Nathan master class.
If we defend to our usual standard we probably only need 3 tries to winTomorrow night is going to be a tough game.

Funnily enough with SOS in the team we actually have a legitimate second long kicking option. He's not great but better than Luai and could be used to mix things up.
