If the odds drift I'll be smashing it
From $2 to $2.15. Not a dramatic change. The money will come back once the finals are here and the team is back at full strength.

But Cleary needs to have a hard look at himself. All the weeks he will be out, that is a hefty chunk of the contract money that we are not getting out of him.

Panthers next 3 games will be interesting - Raiders (A) /Storm (H) /Souths (A) - possibly given those 3 teams a leg up and a better chance of winning those games now.

Last 2 games are Warriors (H) and Cows (A)

I can see them losing all 3 just depends which raiders team shows up

Raiders and Storm have probs with injuries, so they are 50/50. Warriors I'm sure we will win although I'm quite certain we will lose both the Souths and Cows matches.

Even winning two matches gets us the MP. All this will be hinging on how many games Cleary is out for.

Most importantly is that the club manages this period carefully so as not to screw up our season.

Hopefully nath and luai take this time to sit back each week. Watch every game together. In particular the teams in the top 8 that we might face.... really watch them and start to come up with game plans on how we can be better and where to break teams down.

Nath can spend the next 4 or so weeks doing a shitload of extras like hes kicking.

Its not all bad. Them being out now means they arent going to get injured or suspended in the next 3 or 4 weeks.

Yeah its not ideal.. like i siad i rest the boys after that tonight. Pick the team i said. If we lose so be it.

Come back in two weeks at full strength hopefully bar nath and luai and come out firing.

We have earnt the right to be smart with team selections the back end of the year..

We know our combos will be ok. Theyve been good all year. They were fine as soon as nath came back from his stint out.

Just need to get to week 1 without anymore chaos.

I was pretty surprised when they said that on Fox, but they were pretty adamant.

just goes to show what I have said before; we should challenge fines at the judiciary every f@cking time!! Seems to be limited downside…

We will see.

I was pretty sure it had to be the same offence

Soooo...

I'll have to watch the replay. Missed it all.

Halfbacks don't get sent off.

Hope no one us crying too much. We are well and truly number one. Eels get us for us and thats great. Awesome rivalry.

Being a fan of this team long term I'm battle hardened as f**k
Life long supporter here. I started supporting them in '66 when I was in kindy in Cambridge Park. Everyone else was supporting saints and rabbitohs. Proud to supports the mighty Panthers! Win, draw or lose. After all those years, I'm battle hardened. We put out an SOS to SOS and he will answer. I think try Staines at centre or To'o to centre with Staines outside of him Although Critter will likely be back. Onwards and upwards. Go the Panthers!

Again though, I don't care about the game itself. I was almost hoping for a loss about now just to shake the team out of complacency and to have them face real adversity for once.

The Context is Cleary being out for an extended period right before the finals....and at the same time as Luai - it is just shocking timing.
I agree. Nothing to play for this year; it’s all over.

The only thing you can do to protect your own mental health is to take a complete break from footy. Don’t read anything about it, don’t watch it and, most importantly, don’t post here. It’s for you own sake.

Souths and Cows will be the harder games.
