Yes. But it was 12 - 4 before Nathan was off and 30-4 at halftime. You feel the Eels went 100%. They formsome reason seem to go well against Penrith. Unsure why

He is WAY WAY too small for the backrow. He is smaller that nearly all Centres and wingers in the league. Anyone who says Tago to the backrow at 1st Grade level have absolutely no clue.

He can certainly play there at a pinch to fill in for injuries - but week in, week out for 65-80 minutes a game he will get targeted and found out defensively.

I also think we would lose his punch in attack. His explosive quickness especially on our blind side plays is very underrated.

Pretty sick of all the Parra fans harping on about it being 12-4 before the Cleary Send off. Our 1st 20-25 minutes this season is usually the worst part of our game. Our team tends to shift gears after that and just pummel and grind the opposition down due to our superior fitness.

We'd have likely done the same except for Nathan's brain explosion. Parra are not a particularly fit team.

Yea, either Parra were preserving themselves, or they thought the Panthers were going to come back harder after a stint in the halftime sheds hence their coyness in that 2nd half.

Whatever the case may be, Parra deserve the credit and pulled our pants down in that first half. Our defensive structure was non existent without those players on the sideline, and Cleary must get the "WTF Was I Thinking" award of 2022. That was not captaincy material at all and has to fully own that rubbish.

I thought that the Eels where all over them in the first 17 mins and I felt it was a certain possibility of winning the game, maybe a 50/50. And as much as the 2 pointt where handy in the top 8 positions if Parra won against 13 men it would of given the side a lot of confidence.
Instead it was a hollow and boring game of footy. A ruined spectacle and a meaningless game bar 2 points. I didn't enjoy the game. May as well just give the 2 points and called it. The result was decided as was what was looking like a classic game.
Anyhows wish the Nathan tackle didn't happen. Would of been an enjoyable game.
