Gosiewski gets two big ticks from me. One for being of Polish descent, and one for being born in Murwillumbah. Awesome signing.

Not alot of love for Kerr on here.

I think he suffered from playing out wide.

Play him and prop in bursts and we'll see what he can do.

I think alot of forwards suffer from poor use of the interchange. AM & Sims included both haven't been 80minute players for atleast a few years.

Probably due to our lack of depth.
I think Kerr may end up with the Dolphins.

Hodgson would be brilliant if you ask me, and actually give us a whole new level to go to. But alas we keep it cheap and probably will use Mbye when McCullough tires. Yawn.
Apparently close to signing with the tigers.

It's an interesting one, what is Kerr's best position? I think I remember reading an interview with him some years ago where he talked about growing up as a ball playing fullback. He just kept growing and eventually they put him in the forwards and he said it was a shock to the system and initially he really didn't like the contact.

Eventually though he got used to it and I actually think he played his best ever footy last year under Mary when he was told to keep it simple and run up the middle, don't try and do anything too clever with the football.

I think Griffin likes his mobility and would prefer to play him in the back row, however I'm not sure he really seems to understand his role when he plays that position.

He's still a young lad, and genuinely keen to learn. He's another one I hope the coaches spend a bit of time with because there have been times where he looks like a very good footballer, so we know he's got it in him.

Other than Bird or Mbye the two most versatile bench players are Kerr who can play either front or second row & Burns who can play second row or centre.

I’m hoping Faamausili has a come back season, he’s got an athletic build he should be much better than what we saw in ‘21

We could have signed players who on Bennett's hit list for 2023 but need a bringing contract for 2022.

Yeah, that's the same question our pathetic club decided to ask themselves in early October rather than months ago when they knew they were set to lose a third or more of their Squad of 30. It's part of the problem isn't it. ( they could have easily let more go but that's another debate ). It's because of this complete lapse of management that we're now scraping the absolute bottom of the barrel. The boys club was too busy jostling for the best spots at the trough.
July 6th we sacked our best prop ( a needless knee-jerk overreaction in itself ) and to date haven't replaced him with kind although we could have gone hard and got TPJ, Klemmer or even the Saifiti's with a good offer or poached someone with the money we were paying Vaughan.
There's a long list of players who were still available in June, July, August that we could have chased and given we are currently one of the most cashed up clubs there's plenty of contracted players we could have had a shot at tempting them to seek an early release and join us.
But no, there we were 1st October with 5 empty seats on the bus headed for the last bus stop outside the Special School.
Millward and Haran should be sent packing. We need people in charge that know what to do with a squad list.

Burns is not a centre i thought this season proved that. Kerr can play edge if needed but i think we have enough cover there short stints in the front row like the big bloke from the storm.

In my opinion I reckon this will be the side Griffin wood pick

1. Tyrell Sloan
2. Mathew Feagai
3. Zac Lomax
4. Moses Suli
5. Mikaele Ravalawa
6. Junior Amone
7. Ben Hunt ( C )
8. Francis Molo
9. Andrew McCullough
10. Aaron Woods
11. Jaydn Su’a
12. Jack Bird
13. Jack De Belin
BENCH
14. Moses Mbye
15. George Burgess
16. Tariq Sims
17. Josh McGuire
18th Man
18. Tautau Moga

overall not a bad squad

long were the days of having Aitken and Lafai in the centre’s we now have two players with absolute strike power

we have great young guns at fb and five eighth

our two wingers are great meter eaters

and you gotta admit compared to our forward pack last year this one is 100 x better even though it is on the older side we still have a forward pack who have all played rep footy at the highest level

Molo ( QLD )
McCullough ( QLD )
Woods ( NSW and AUS )
Su’a ( QLD )
Bird ( NSW )
De Belin ( NSW )
McGuire ( QLD , AUS )
Burgess ( ENG )
Sims ( NSW )

we also have some good depth in the forwards with
- Kerr
- Lawrie
- Burns
- Alvaro
- Ford
- Fuimaono
- Fa’amusili
- Gosiewski

all who have had ample first grade experience within the last year

our backs depth isn’t too bad but could be stronger IMO
- Max Feagai
- Ramsey
- Moga
- Mbye
- Bird

We do need another backup specialist dummy half whilst we also only got one back up half that being Jayden Sullivan with the only other player in the squad that can play half is Moses Mbye ( Outside of Hunt and Amone )
Why do people keep putting Mcguire in their starting team when he is not available for the first five rounds.

This is the team info on this site. I only count 26 squad players plus the 2 development players.
Have they missed someone ? I thought we only had one spot left. Is J.Hunt still with us ?

Josh Hodgson is up for the taking for next year, failing that we have to invest in Sullivan to phase out McCullough during the season.

Hodgson would be brilliant if you ask me, and actually give us a whole new level to go to. But alas we keep it cheap and probably will use Mbye when McCullough tires. Yawn.
Assuming you mean Hodgkinson hasn't he signed or close to signing with the Tigers?
