Probably do kennedy good to have a few weeks off, hasn't he been playing through injury or am i thinking of someone else
No - NAS (130 kg) dropped his full body weight on him (he’d be lucky to be 80 kg) - has struggled with his shoulder ever since…

Kennedy - Grade 3 high tackle careless - 2-3 matches
Ramien - Grade 3 high tackle careless - 3-4 matches (carry overs)
Rudolf - Crusher - fine

I really disagree with the grades. Lindsey Collins nearly decapitated Corey Thompson and only got Grade 2 careless high tackle.
Collins and Tupou play for Easts so can't be used for comparative purposes.

Kennedy's tackle looks spectacular but did no damage, more of a cuffing motion as he was wrong footed. Purely a reflex action. Tupou had plenty of time and had no need to go that high. IMO his is a worse tackle because it should have been avoided andyet had the same outcome.
Ramien's was careless as he had intent to put a shot on and so needs to exercise more care in the impact zone. It was shoulder/chest contact and not a swinging arm.

Frenzy.

In fact, when I review Ramien's I think he "pulled" the shot. Also looks to me like Aitken's head had more momentum in the collision. Still disagree with it being a Grade 3. Next week someone will do a Grade 83 and get a bouquet of roses and a box of Ferrero Rocher.

The only reason why Kennedy was sent off because the the tackle looked spectacular..
A bit like this stunt:

Yes, and the timing though. After Twopoos incident, where clearly he should have been sent, "they" had to take that action. All will be forgotten soon though and blokes will be able to use 4 x 2s again.

Sending WK off has now created precedence AFAIK but will precedence be adhered to? I doubt it

I don't think Dales problem was his in the making. The poor prick copped a well targeted shoulder to his melon.

It had nothing to do with his knocks in tackles. or tackling.

Whithead will be on the sideline for a few I reckon.

He probably will but dale bounced onto his shoulder off papalii and starling first. Don't think the contact could have been avoided unfortunately.

Dale, knee injury. It will help with his head knock, that is if there really is any injury. Get my drift.
I thought that was deftly handled by Fitz in the presser.

To me eye there didn't seem to be anything wrong with Dale's knee when he was charging it up but of course what would I know.

Yep. Imagine tomorrow
"FINUCANE AND HIS HAED KNOCKS. WILL HE PLAY AGAIN?"
Now it will be no headlines,
injury list: Finucane, knee, undetermined.

Fitz's handling of the presser really belies his limited experience.

He gives nothing away, won't be drawn into snap judgements on things he hasn't had a chance to review light high shots or injuries.

He answers enough questions no one will have a crack at him or he'll earn any ire from the journos but also won't end up on the back page of the Tele.

He'd probably make a half decent lawyer.
