It kinda wasn’t out of their colour wheel at the time. In the early 2000’s the Donkeys we’re trying to land navy as a tertiary colour like this jersey:-I f**king loved when the broncos went with blue and white for their away jersey. It was so different and totally unbroncos colours that it just worked. I wish they kept it, and more teams went down that route.
That being, keep home kit relatively the same but make that away jersey something that you make money off every year by changing it/having totally different colouring/style.
So f**king stupid. Makes me mad. Get a f**king name ffsso it wasnt some long arse joke, we are actually having a NRL team called THE ???

Never officially. These guys officially dont have a location. At some time in the past, didn’t we have THE Bulldogs? And was it THE Warriors too at some point?
Move the Dolphins to Perth you mean? Bit harsh for a new club. At least let them be shite for a few yearsPerth tourism could theoretically get a naming rights sponsorship with the Dolphins as part of an NRL bid strategy.
You're interpreting a joke that isn't there.Move the Dolphins to Perth you mean? Bit harsh for a new club. At least let them be shite for a few years
Canterbury for a while traded as Bulldogs RLFC (the RLFC part was always dropped) and Cronulla were just the Sharks, both in the early 2000s although the Bulldogs were constantly in the media referred to as Canterbury until they changed back to Canterbury-Bankstown in 2010At some time in the past, didn’t we have THE Bulldogs? Everyone is going to refer to them as Redcliffe anyway.so it wasnt some long arse joke, we are actually having a NRL team called THE ???
It'll end up that way, just like how we still refer to roosters as eastsEveryone is going to refer to them as Redcliffe anyway.
That’s a nice jersey. Will almost certainly be better than what they trot out inIf the Wests Tigers training jersey on their website is anything to go by, PlayUp are now the sternum sponsor and FAB Logistics are the new sleeve sponsor. ELMO is absent from the back of the jerseys though
Imagine the Brydens logo sitting below the chevron, then pissing off the lozenge that surrounds it and you’d have a bloody decent bit of kit.If the Wests Tigers training jersey on their website is anything to go by, PlayUp are now the sternum sponsor and FAB Logistics are the new sleeve sponsor. It would be 1000× better if the jersey was Orange or White, you know not that wests black tiger in the fantasy booksImagine the Brydens logo sitting below the chevron, then pissing off the lozenge that surrounds it and you’d have a bloody decent bit of kit.
