Many pundits and people predicting us to finish bottom 3 and many are thinking we get the spoon. Are we really that bad? I feel like our team is stronger than last year's and could finish a spot or two higher as well.

Many think that due to the style of our footy - one out shit every week for the whole season - and the inconsistent form of our highest paid players plus our lack of depth and of course the turnstile in the centres.

Can’t really blame them.

O’Brien now has a halfback, our highest paid player in the 6, a fullback who will return the footy and our No. 1 hooker ready to go.

Surely he can get a few more wins than last season.

Whether weve improved or not remains to be seen. The issue is that many other teams in the bottom 8 have also improved significantly

Outside of the Dragons who seem to be imploding and the Dolphins who are a literal unknown, I can see every other team finishing higher than us

While I agree…you also have to consider we finished 14 last year, with broncos, dragons, bulldogs, sea eagles and titans were between us and the 8. All of which (except the dragons) have a much better roster this year
