I think it’s fine to have, but no games should be played at stadiums that get games during the NRL season.

The Raiders have done the right thing taking their “home” trial to Moruya, likewise the Storm going to Geelong, Cowboys to Cairns and Broncos to Sunshine Coast.

But teams like the Panthers playing at Penrith, Bulldogs at Belmore or even the games at Gosford are absolutely taking the piss. Should be banned.

Mate, there's also another important game which although doesn't have the same prestige as the WCC, is always a grand final for one of the contestants.
The Charity Shield used to be considered the unofficial start of the season and gives us all our 1st lol@saints or lol@souths.
