I reckon Doorey has nailed down that edge spot, Matto on after 25mins and he plays as a middle.

Thought Murchie was solid off the bench too. Probs did enough to put AntiVax Bryce back to reggies and make numpties like Bartman cry again

I mean he is under the current cap.

Let's be honest, you put Moses in the Storm side and he's no longer a downhill skier. He's an objectively better player than Hughes, for eg. Most of his inconsistency comes from the fact that he plays for Parra and look at how dumb we still are. It's in our genes, no coach in my lifetime has managed to get rid of it.

hughes is a first grade level fullback bumped to halfback because they have no one else. His running and breaking tackles is ahead of Moses but in no other way is he comparable as a half. Munster and Hughes combo was great during peak vlandys ball when the game was fast and lots of open space and momentum for the attacking team but now we have slowed back down to pre covid football a real play maker is needed and Harry is really the one making anything happen.

moses is a proper halfback and would improve the storm to the point they would be premiership favourites

That would have been the first and last time this year you could have said that!

Never known of any other team that can self destruct like the Parramatta Eels. Ever since that 2001 grand final loss they've had some sort of "dumb play" curse. It's kinda like a club culture of choosing the wrong option at the worse time. It's truly head scratching stuff

yeah nah! The faders do it much better, titans know how to throw away a big lead too

Cracking game to start the season. Felt we deserved the win in any case, but honestly I’m happy with a draw after 80 mins. Will take it as it comes though

Dooreys always looked good, no idea why the dogs got rid of him, probably cause he’s actually a local Junior
Doorey is actually a Parra junior, Kellyville Bushrangers and starred in Matt’s and Ball, the Dogs made him a big money junior target. Got injured , played a few NRL games and wasn’t extended.

I was aware Parra had been chasing him for a couple of years, finally got him back.

It began with Paul Carriage in 98.

Against a bog average storm team list with multiple injuries throughout.

Brown & Moses didn't step up when it mattered. Parra's pack were excellent but let down by their halves.

I think it goes to show the standard Brown has set that people think he was poor?

He was well contained yeah. But he's a running five eighth and he ran the ball more than both wingers. He just didn't get through good defence. The number of runs also probably means the Storm cut off his outside options a lot in defence but I don't really watch in that much detail much these days.

Issue we'll always have with him is his long kicking game is pretty limp. Hopefully old man Hodgson can find the time to do a bit of kicking
