We won by more than I expected, but still extremely disappointed in that. We can't back up a good first half with a good second half, largely because the refereeing seems to change at half time to stop it. But also because when you don't need points they just dont seem to push the issue. Only times we have put teams away in the second half, were on the back of closer first halves so the referee wasn't trying to keep it close.

The only bright side to games like this is seeing the team take odd risks just because why not? Cleary kicking for Crichton. Not a play that would ever happen in a game that was in the balance, but Cleary thought f**k it let's take a shot and see what happens. Obviously it didn't pay off. It didn't hurt either. But I like seeing random shit like that. You can see he has the mindset for that stuff, but usually thinks it's too risky. Panthers will play the odds if the game is in the balance. You only see shit like that if they're desperate or have a lot of breathing room.

Also that was close to one of our worst defensive efforts. Largely due to Peachey though. Bloke gets carved up frequently.
