Sombreros are on a downward trend but even at their worst, they should still beat Merge. Either way it will be a slog.

Not that I give a damn, but you'd think if you were going to drop a half it'd be the five-eighth afraid to tackle rather than your goal kicking halfback, but what do I know

Rorters should find themselves in heaven attacking at Lomax
Could easily be 40 plus margin if they show up & have a decent 50-60 minutes

Why do you drop a player to NSW Cup? It is to give them a break and get their confidence back which is exactly what Sam needs. Dropping Keary there serves no purpose, he will ultimately be the one that makes way though for a long term Manu/Walker combination.

A glaring issue at the moment is the lack of ball Manu gets. He walks in to any other team not named Manly at fullback and 80% of the teams at 5/8. He is a complete waste in the centres at this stage. Walker will get his chance in the halves again this season due to origin/injuries etc.

At 20 years of age, Sam may just have to be content with a bench spot for this season when we are at full strength, a role which he was very good at in 2021. The long term 7 is still his though, I doubt Keary is re-signed beyond next season.

Tedesco to slip into a textbook ribs tackle from a Saints defender. Said defender will be immediately sent off and suspended for 8 weeks.
Also, Manu will humiliate our backline, and we'll make the special school giraffe Tupou appear first grade standard in a 48-8 loss.

😂😂😂 Special school giraffe. I can't wait to see the photoshop that @SLRBRONCOS makes.

My take is that Sam is the martyr of a culture problem. There would be many egos and to the leadership group it's easier to drop the kid instead of non performing senior player. Manu will kill it whatever number is on his back. Personally I reckon Tedesco would make a great 6 (especially if he develops a kicking game) with Manu at 1 and Walker at 7. Walker will probably enjoy the time away from the pressure of 1st grade with the drama surrounding them currently. It won't be long until Keary gets another concussion, then Walker will be back in 1st grade.

Anzac day clashes are always great contests. Everybody lifts and rightly so. Roosters attack is not up to standard for mine this year so far. They struggle big time to score points in the 2nd half. If they fix that up then I will change my mind. I do think they will still beat the dragons by 4 points but I'm not passing up on some small bets with Dragons +13.5 and @4.5 for possible win. This could be a very interesting contest
