Does this mean that the Silktails have abandoned their youth development policy?

Lets us hope that is the case. So few play RL in Fiji that if a Residents team is going to be competitive in RMC they will not do so by having age restrictions. Alternatively, they could frop out of RMC reduce age limit to 21 and play Flegg. Might win a few games.

Scores from Fiji dont appear until the game is finished and often the tries and goals do add to score indicated. At game end the score popped in as a 30-12 win to St Marys, however, if you look at the detail it states that the score was 22-12 even though Jake Tago is listed as scoring 5 of the 6 tries, 2 of them in the 23rd minute, another in the 25th minute and another 2 tries in the 34th minute, so the actual score is anyone's guess.

He knows how to read the clock and then calculate time elapsed, so all the tries and goals in the 2 games today are recorded with the correct times. The first try shows up as 5 minutes instead of the 35 minute nonsense in any other game, and for the first time scores are allocated to the 2nd half. We need this person to explain logic to all the other ground managers.

As to the games, Hills scored a big win over the previously 2nd placed Brothers in SS while in RMC, Hills continued their poor form to hand Brothers their 2nd win for 2023. The send off of Keiran Hayman in the 34th minute would have had significant influence on the outcome.

Confirmation that the Kaiviti Silktails v St Marys was 22-12 despite the amount of tries added to the scoring system. Game was moved to their number 3 field at Churchill Park due to the rain. First half was played in driving rain with an 8-6 scoreline in favour of the visitors at the break. A quick try to Jake Tago after the break and an intercept try to David Fale took the scoreline to 20-6. A 50 metre effort from Sefanaia Bola brought the hosts within 8 but a late penalty goal to St Marys gave them the win.

Seems unlikely that all the ground managers are too lazy to score it properly.

If there was a flaw in the system you could not get the right result ever. A Mojo game at Shark Park before NRL was done correctly last year as well as one game this year while several A Grade final series games have been done correctly in Penrith, as well as Central West GF's at Belmore last year. The problem is human.

Also consider the tries this season that have been credited in the 220th minute and the 374th minute - automated system or human error, or Jake Tago's 2 double tries.

All the other comps are actually on an automated system tied to the clock so interchanges, penalties, dropped balls etc are recorded to the second but that costs money, so put RMC/SS in a junior system that is cheap but requires manual calculations.

The reason we have no team lists on Tuesday is because the NSWRL procedure manual instructs all clubs not to insert the teams in the system, rather to bring their ipad to the Ground manager 60 minutes before the game and they will insert names. So if you have a system for under 7's treat the clubs like 7 year olds. Canterbury continue to put their teams in on Tuesday because thats what they are accustomed to in all their grades.

With Canterbury having byes in NRL, NSW Cup and Flegg, there must have thoughts about stacking the RMC team this week, but it appears that only Kalati and Stringer have been added, although 1 & 6 are not identified.

Match centre was left open post-game and not switched to fulltime until after RMC had finished - and even then they've left it at 8. Hmmm.

Correct. Match centre is wrong. Mounties scored their last try right under the sticks. Converted from in front. I'm sure it will get updated on Monday.

Apart from leaving out the kick on fulltime in SS the scorer did a good job again, recording all the tries and goals at correct times. Masi Fidow landed all the goals for St Marys in Shield, from all over the field. It appears that Craig Gower is now part of the brains trust at St Marys.
