After starting the season with Eastwood in the Shute Shield, Sione Hopoate is on the wing for Ryde Eastwood RMC this evening.

It appears that Moorebank bt Cabramatta 25-24 last night but for some reason the headline score has reverted to the score at half time ie 12-12 and the system is giving each club one point for a draw. The omission of a goal kicked by Mounties in SS last week has not been corrected so what are the chances that Cabramatta will end up making the top 5 on the back of the false draw.

Fair Call but at 10 july last year they had won 11 out 12 in RMC and then lost 5 of their last 6 games so there is still time to implode, but there doesnt appear to be many alternative premiers.

I agree. Last year's Massey comp was a very open with any of the top 4 sides being able to win it. If Hills get a heap of Norths players back at the back end of the year they could mount a challenge. I think Ryde would be the only other side capable of doing St Marys but would depend on who Wests send back.

As for Shield, who knows. Its who every turns up on the day. If Brothers are on they are a very good side and are the only side to beat St Marys this year. Hills would be the only other chance, but that would rely on Norths stacking Massey and players filtering down to Shield.
