As frustrating as the last two weeks have been, we've had opportunities to snatch them both late. If we turn up for majority of the 80 minutes we win them both comfortably. Sort the simple errors out and we'll go on a roll. We lost that game ourselves last night. Can't moan about officials when we simply drop the footy trying to play the ball.
True. However, we CAN completely complain about the SCHEDULE. The squad has been forced to play THREE CONSECUTIVE ROAD PLAYOFF games in THIRTEEN DAYS, that is taking into account the intensity and the caliber of opposition. Its like say Dallas in the NFL starting out with: San Francisco @ SF; Kansas City @ KC and Philadelphia @ Philly. That's a Murders Row of contests to start the season. Only bad things come from that, regardless of how good the road team is.
Next up its the improved Manly followed by Melbourne. Souths hardly see their Home Ground for a month or so. That is brutal and totally unfair. Whoever is responsible for this Scheduling is totally contra the club we love. Its brutal and discriminatory. What other club faces anything like this Schedule? Penrith .. they had three consecutive Home Games followed by a Bye! Easts had a Virgin team followed by Warriors at Home then us again at Home when they were fresh. Brisbane they had Penrith but then Two Home games, including St George! Given the heat and intensity of contests I severely doubt if even Penrith could emerge with a winning record with such a Schedule. Pete Prisco always argued that NFL sides playing two consecutive Home Games made constant winning impossible, especially the second road game. Well our club had THREE ROAD GAMES in 13 days then two more playoff teams next up. If any of you believe there is no creed in this then you are dreaming. The Schedule given to SSFC has been a killer and was deliberately designed to blunt the brilliance we have. The individual responsible was likely an Easts stooge/Politis NRL implant because their Schedule is far and away much softer.

You should be used to it by now. Happens every year. South’s always play all the best teams at the start and always have a horrid run into the finals. It never changes. The home game stuff is disgusting though. Broncos have 17 games at Suncorp this year. 19 in qld.
souths have 13 in Sydney.

If Allianz is a road game, then every game is a road game for us. It's 15 minutes from our training base!

Not leaving Sydney isn't comparable to US road games.

I agree that it's a tough draw to start the season but it's hardly a death sentence.

Shows you how corrupt the NRL is.
They always say the draw is "created by a computer program at random"
What a load of BS.
How is it the computer "randomly" picks all the good teams all playing each other at the start and end of the season, and all the shit teams playing each other at the start and end???? Year after Year?????

Lol straight out lies

Broncos have 11 games at suncorp and 3 at the gabba. 12 of those are home games, 1 is away against dolphins and the other magic round. They have 17 in QLD and that is the fault of you dopes for taking a game against them to Sunshine Coast.

Souths also have 14 games in Sydney assuming the parra one will be at SFS. They would have 3 more but chose to take them elsewhere which would be 17 i.e. the same as broncos in QLD. You have no one else but yourselves to blame.

Roosters have 16 games in Sydney for reference.

Lol good grief, What a sook

Roosters and rabbits have the exact same amount of games against teams from the 2022 top 8 in the 2023 season.... that being 11.

Souths home/away split of said games is 7-4 so in other words they only have 1 more away game against a 2022 finalist the remainder of the season. Roosters home/away split is 6-5

I will point out lies when I see them.

Fancy complaining about the draw after round 3, that is what losers do.

Fair enough you can point out tough stretches of the schedule but to outright claim a conspiracy.....

Good grief
