I remember back when we were good (late 90’s/ early 2000’s) we often lost trials but then we were a top team during the season…I don’t think this is like that.

I think they were as bad as each other in that instance. Why was Marzhew tackling a centre 10 metres in?

Because best pushed in when he didn't have to, leaving marzhew covering centre and winger.

Marzhew could have stayed on the winger, in which case the centre strolls through a 10m hole untouched
