The Storm accounts do not appear to show the full picture. Where is the grant money from the NRL and matchday revenue? The related company Valimanda Pty Ltd might actually be the entity that runs the team as the business name Melbourne Storm is owned by Valimanda.

Its a wholly owned subsidary of Valimanda - privately held company that does not issue annual reports.

I know it's financials are not lodged with ASIC. I was just referring to the public figures you pasted don't appear to show the full football operations.

They dont as the other areas are areas that flow into the parent company revenue for which there is no report. Not sure why memberships dont, maybe some Vic legal thing?

I just had a look at the 2023 and 2022 annual reports of Melb Storm and both years they showed nil pre-tax profit. So I assume 2024 will be the same. They have obviously structured this entity to show nil (breakeven) as it's a company limited by guarantee so is prohibited from paying dividends. Obviously any profit or loss is reflected in other companies in the corporate structure.

Theyve reported the same way since at least 2013.
