Based upon what criteria? It's still larger than at least 3 other games this round and all but 1 last round.

Sure we'd love it to be more, but it's not horrible and it is the first time the club has drawn less than 20K at Suncorp (let's not forget even the Broncos have had a number of sub-20K crowds at Suncorp since moving back there)

I am curious as to what is deemed a decent crowd by your standards? You gave over 300 posts on this thread and I can't see one that is positive
The goal should be that they get at least the equal crowds that the Lions get. But this is about half of that (a bit over a half) level.
It's a worse crowd than the Titans were getting in their year 2.
They need to lift their F'ing game.

I was at the game and I was expecting closer to 30k. The Dolphins did a lot of crowd participation and they’re has been plenty of ads on Triple M, however I think with KP missing and a longish weekend where many in Brisbane head to the Sunny or Gold Coasts, would’ve made for less today. Not 12k less. Plenty of kids at the game which was good to see

Would have expected at least 20k with the good weather, dolphins current form and league position as well as the broncos not playing in Brisbane this round.

it was said on the radio commentary that there was problems with the train lines in northern Brisbane area so maybe this hampered the crowd some what.
The airport line was f**ked too, so that may have accounted for 2-3k

So based off the Broncos who were the only club for 30 years?

Tell you what:
I'll order a pie , eat 80% of the pie until I'm stuffed and can't eat anymore..
Now I'll hand what's left of the pie to you...do you get as much pie?

Looks like the Dolphins are eating their 20% of the pie, which luckily is a very large pie! And the pie is getting bigger every day.

The Dolphins crowds will slowly go down over the next few years too as the novelty wears off.. but this is an investment! That will increase dividends over a long time, probably 20 years after the first 3 before they're averaging 20k again.

Once again: historically and globally in both Rugby league and Union..18k is a big crowd.
I don’t have an issue with any of that but I genuinely thought that the Brisbane public would have gotten behind this game a little more what with the dolphins current form&league standing and the ANZAC commemorations.

Having the game in Auckland was the key I think.
Make it a permanent fixture NRL
I’m sure plenty of Warriors fans would be fine with sharing the game with the Titans, knowing how merkiny the Storm were and refused to rotate with NZ

You have serious personal issues my friend and it’s not a good look.

it is only a game after all. Please try and lighten up a little.
No worries Brian. I tell you what you should be worried about while we are offering advice. Having T Boon as a fan.

Seriously mate it’s not life and death and at the end of the day we are all(hopefully) rugby league fans.
Look I know you copped a lot today and made a bit of a dick of yourself. I just want to assure you that you deserved it and I enjoyed my bit immensely.

You're just making stuff up now. The Titans crowds for 2008 had the following crowds all worse than today's game: 17,381 v Canberra / 17,759 v Penrith / 15,136 v Newcastle

The Titans average in 2008 was 21,618. Dolphins are averaging 24,187 at Suncorp so far this year and haven't even hosted the likes of Broncos, Warriors or Storm, which are the bigger games. Even including the Redcliffe game, the club is at 20,643.

I did suggest his maths was poor but it upset him so thanks for the validation.
