No it was full time but yes couldn't have blamed them for leaving after 20 mins. Not sure whether Easts played brilliant football the first 20 mins or the Warriors just didn't turn up in the first 20. I think it was a case of both.

Yes i was there, not so much in the members section but noise from the Western side below the members sounded like a big Kiwi presence whenever the Warriors did something right or scored.

Warriors supporters were mostly seated down behind the Randwick end goal line, and in the corners.

Historically, Roosters v Warriors matches have been competitive and entertaining affirs, so it usually is a game where the away crowd get good supporter turn out. Good that is for an inter-state or overseas based team playing a non-finals game in Sydney.

Absolutely no disrespect to the performances or fans of the Panthers and Sharks but they are probably two of the worst teams to be dominating the comp considering their relatively small fan bases and stadiums.

Again, not an attack on the two teams, they are playing incredibly and deserve 1st and 2nd spot but it doesn't really help push the league’s average attendance up, so we aren't able to capitalise on their success like if say the Eels and Dogs were dominating.

That happens in every code across the planet. If the big clubs always dominated how boring would that be? EPL ring a bell? If the game is strong enough , and it is, things will turn around in time. It’s just ebb and flow.

In fairness to Penrith, the club has given us 3x 20K+ sell outs already this year and is likely to go close to selling out their remaining games. The fact they are 'the team to beat' has also meant that the Storm, Roosters, Cowboys and Sea Eagles have all drawn above average crowds as well. So whilst they may not bring huge away numbers, they are pulling the average up to 20K when they're at home and helping push up the average for the top teams as it is a big game.

For the Sharks, there isn't anyone in the world who doesn't want them to be able to get more into their games. The redevelopment next to Shark Park was meant to be finished, and the club was hoping to be drawing 17-20K a game. Unfortunately it isn't, but still them doing well will hopefully help push up the crowd numbers for upcoming games like the Broncos and Bulldogs.

Honestly, it's a positive thing for the code if we can still get a good average even when the 'larger' clubs aren't performing. We ideally want to solidify our averages so 20K becomes the new 'base' regardless of whether the Bulldogs are first or the Titans.

Sleeping giants are the dragons, souths, tigers and dogs - tigers and dogs in particular are 30k plus at the right home ground. Dragons can’t really do that as oki is max 25k and needs to be upgraded further. Win is max 20k or so.

Roosters are a team on the growth path, they have well heeled support and no opposition to Manly and to Souths. Maybe other than the swans, who are for pansies and Oxford st types. If you are not a fan of a club you go for broncos, roosters or as a Westie panthers. The 3 premierships in a row and clearly mean 10000s of new young fans each.

Million dollar question. I’d count them individually tbh. Used to think differently. But each game has its own crowd and people buy tickets to multiple games.

100% agree. Like Titans vs Knights will probably be the lowest attended game this weekend, but it's better than saying Day 2 got 50,000+ then have Titans and Knights listed alongside that, boosting their crowd averages by a lot.
