Also if Parra stop charging $115 a ticket for sideline seats in the upper tier on an Origin round Thursday we may see Commbank a little fuller. I hope Penrith don't rip off their fans there next year like the Eels are.

They'd rather one fan pay $115 and 3 others watch on TV in preference to 4 fans pay $30 each. Why?

I don't see why we have to have a Thursday game in an origin shortened round though. Obvious answer is because channel 9 said so but in round 16 there is no Thursday game.

Would that be the women’s origin on that night. Channel nine naturally have their influence on maintaining Thursdays. Be good if some clubs could price accordingly so there’s an added incentive of cheaper tickets for these games.

Poor crowd. Why have a Thursday night game? There's only 5 games this weekend and clubs are missing origin players.

NRL should down for three weeks. There's three options in its place:

*have origin after the GF, with test football now in mid season
*women's origin and pacific tests
*kick off NRLW

Warriors only have 3 home games at Mt Smart after those games, fair chance they sell out every home game this season at this rate.

All Friday night games.

All games they’d fancy their chances too which helps

All games aren't sold out yet, but they will

Just got a few tickets for the Eels game on 2nd Aug, for the south stand (GA) but there weren't all that many seats showing in the main stands, mostly in the corners with only scattered seats either side of centre. And that's still two months away!

Round 21 also has no game for some reason, two weekends after Origin but Souths v Canberra is a Sunday 6:15.

Is that because of the Olympics, and if so, why couldn't they just move that game to 9Gem?

Geez I forgot they had the Olympics , although I dont know why that would effect the NRL games considering its over in Paris

Parra game should have been 3pm on Saturday or Sunday at 2pm.

Again channel nine having too much say on the schedule.
