2024 Crowd Watch

@SLRBRONCOS what's the chances of the Suncorp Origin crowd recrod (52,540) being broken tonight? I presume it depends on stadium members, corporates, etc.?
No chance. The stadium released standing room tickets in the level 3 concourse and level 7 corners for game 3 2017 which drew that crowd. I was there, and sold my seats to grab standing tickets with friends and it was the best origin experience I've had. We had the best time standing.

I also understand that the crowd was actually closer to 53,100 - but the stadium went over the licensed capacity for 'all seat events' which was 52,540 at the time, that is probably why they announced that figure. Whoopsie! I've asked the stadium to bring back the standing room tickets and they say no.

Stadium members had to confirm attendance tonight. Keep in mind that since the new screens were put in the capacity is actually closer to 52,100 seats, the difference is made up of corporates standing in boxes.

I think we will see 52,300.

You are wrong yet again. He’s had active involvement in stadium development including on the Gold Coast. With means you are just a bare faced liar or afl troll or perhaps both. You told multiple lies about the tassie stadium as well.
Five minutes ago you didn’t know who he was and not you are an expert on him. Is there anything about AFL you don’t know? I looked him up on wiki and he joined the SUNS years after their stadium rebuild, and cannot find any other involvement in stadia building. Please fill me in.

Newcastle should go close to selling out today. Very few seats left in those bays / areas not already grey.

Melbourne also looking very solid which is great. Gosford unfortunately hasn't moved as much as I'd have hoped the last few days (although the Rabbitohs haven't even started promoting Saturday's game yet).

Cowboys, despite having a terrible timeslot, are moving more tickets than I expected. Had feared this would be a 14K match (or less), but it is looking more promising. Will ultimately coming down how many members can turn up.

Not unreasonable to expect 120000 for the 7 games. Boring Thursday night coming up though

Knights fans are the best fans in the game

imagine if they had a decent run of success what their crowds would be

just the sniff of a semi decent side gets a packed stadium

Good to see some price adjustment for the Dolphins Perth game, at least in the east stand. Tickets were originally $84 each and have been dropped to $69.
Still ridiculous to be asking $69 to sit behind the sticks with no cover though. Around 13-14k sold so far looking at seat map.

I can see Newcastle finishing the season with 6 straight 25k+ crowds, hopefully all or most of them sellouts. After the Broncos game they have 3 Sunday afternoon games to finish the season, Vs Tigers, Titans & Dolphins but the Sunday afternoon time slot alone should ensure big crowds.

They should be next in line for stadium funding in NSW. Whether that’s the full completion you posted a pic of or just one end for now and the other later. Having a 40k stadium there would be a great reward for the fans. Newcastle should also get their one off Origin they missed out on during covid when that happens.

They are amazing... if only we could actually get their stadium finished for them... they would easily average 30K+

Wahs and knights have the biggest potential for large average crowd increases then the dolphins

I also wonder how high the broncos could go if Suncorp could be bigger

most Sydney clubs can show minor gains. Maybe dogs one day or south’s back at Allianz could grow meaningfully
