Week 1 finals watch

Storm will host a game. If penrith win this week they will certainly host, if the lose roosters are a chance of hosting.

Bulldogs or sharks will host as the 5th team. From a crowd perspective dogs the much preferred option. 6th place is up for grabs.

Most likely scenario at this stage IMO

Storm v sharks - 25k
Panthers v roosters - sell out
Dogs v dragons - 50k
Manly v cowboys - sell out

Allianz Stadium unfortunately isn't showing great signs of life for Friday's game against the Eels. It's ahead of the Rooster's clash against the Wests Tigers earlier in the year (14,711), though will need to get a move along to push into 20K zone.

Wollongong is also moving slowly, which is surprising. I thought with the Dragons still very much in the hunt for the 8 this game might have been selling better. I'm guessing the forecast for rain isn't helping, but still there are a lot of grandstand tickets untouched.

Not sure what is happening at Campbelltown. Only limited Premium seats left, southern GA is sold out but half the ground hasn't been put on sale. Seems counter productive considering there is no cost savings in only selling part of CSS.

I think you're right. Looking ahead (I forgot about the Sharks derby the next week) and they've already sold a lot more tickets and started releasing the back rows in some stands.

Hopefully there will be a bit of a flow forward effect later in the week as tickets for the Sharks game become scarcer.

Dragons v Roosters NRLW precedes Dragons v Titans NRL. Enticing and potentially pivotal game after last week's performances.

Illawarra is by far the dominant side of St. Merge in female RL. Couldn't they liaise with local junior clubs to get more girls attending with their families?

In England, Barrow have a women's team in WSL and a men's team in the Championship. At double-headers, fans who come early for the women's game receive a substantial discount.

Last year it was October 19 when ticket sales hit the 15,000 mark and December 11 when ticket sales hit the 20,000 mark. We hit the 15,000 mark back on August 3, and a number of additional tickets have moved since then, so I think it's safe to say we're well ahead.

This is what the ticket sales map looked like for Vegas on Feb 29 this year when the Telegraph was reporting 40K had been sold for the game. Bays 304 - 308 were never put on sale last year, which is encouraging.

Thanks for the reply, lets hope we can sell out level 1 & 2 for a start and go from there.

If anyone's team is playing and you thinking about going just do it. Was an insane weekend and out of this world stadium. I really wanted to go see the Wahs with Kiwi clients next year sadly can't make it due to work. Will go back fingers crossed in 2026 (teams depended).

Think the big money will also be in corporate sales, don't know what the split with the LV Raiders will be but I think NRL will be pleased.
- Already 12 pax boxes are sold out.
- All level 1 corp lounges sold out.
- Half Loge seats between halfway mark are all sold out.

Ultimately this is all that is needed to make it worthwhile for the code. So long as it is paying for itself (and ideally generating some extra revenue) and continues to generate the media attention both last year and this year have, it is worth pursing IMO.

Level 2 South has just opened up at Allianz, indicating that Friday's crowd is on track for 18K+. General Admission South is also getting down to limited seats.

Hopefully with the Olympics now over, tonight's game reminds everyone the NRL is still on and there is a bit of a late surge to push it closer to 20K.

Premium tickets at Campbelltown Stadium are selling better than I thought they would. Of the 8 Premium bays put on sale, 4 are sold out and another is down to single seats. The other 3 are also more than 70% sold. Additional Reversed bays have been put on sale as well. Club has also invited players from the Macarthur Saints, Campbelltown Warriors, Campbelltown Collegians, Glenquarie All Stars, Warragamba Wombats and the Appin Dogs to the game, which will hopefully help swell the GA areas.

All indications are that the crowd should be bigger than what the Tigers drew against Canberra (10,106) earlier in the year.

Selling out has two advantages

1. nrl makes a huge profit from game day revenues

2. Vegas authority will pay more to keep the event in Vegas
