.

Back in the old days the sfs used to sell out in 5 mins back in June or July when the tickets were first made available.

Scarcity is a thing. You would think with the population of Sydney now it would still be a thing.

.
Yeh but sfs only had something like 25k tickets available to the public for the grand final and origins

The more I think about it 33,753 is not too bad for the game last night.

19,211 for a Semi 6 years ago (increase of ~75%)

Rain was pretty persistent and heavy

Two teams from outer suburbs

Two of the three smaller clubs in Sydney

Casual sporting fans may have been caught up in Swans hype train (which never actually departed the station lol)

All in all not too bad IMO

My opinions is that if Melbourne fall in a hole, so will their attendances. Happy to be proven wrong but we won't see that until (if) they actually do.
based on the last few seasons if they don't beat Penrith in the GF then they will fall in a hole

What are the NRL playing at charging $240 for the supporter sections at the Grand Final?! Might hold onto my restricted view tickets at this rate
Was a bit nervous I was jumping the gun dropping $299 on Gold tickets on Saturday, sounds like I made the right choice. $240 is poor value to sit at the ends.

Quite a few tickets left. Those up on level 4 corners will need to be reduced - the demand isn’t there like last year with the glorious broncos fan base (who are now all clinically depressed) haha

it’ll probably still sell out but they’ll be cutting it fine

10,387 @ Commbank for the NSWRL finals
Looked like atleast 5-6k Bears fans at the game. You would think that would increase with top flight representation. Are they supporters of other current NRL teams and have the Bears as a second team in the NSW Cup? Either way, could be one of the best supported away teams in Sydney. If they walk that tightrope between engaging Syd based fans, whilst still being a WA team, could be one of the biggest clubs in the comp.
