2024. DRAW

The more I look at our draw the more concerned I have become of how hard we could find ourselves getting wins. What I am most concerned about is whether or not we can dominate in any of the games. I'm guessing that we won't in many of the games, but I know the comp hasn't started yet so I hope that I am totally wrong.

I would find it very hard to believe we can't improve on last year with Flanno snr at the helm.
We don't have any signings of note yet but considering our ladder stats for 2023, surely we can bounce back somewhat.
2023;
All season - 5 wins
Away games - Zero wins from 12.
Last 10 games - 1 win
Last 6 games - Zero wins.
6 losses by 6 points or less.

What's crucial is that Flanno gets our spine settled and firing and finds us some speed out wide.
I think we have a better spine than the Doggies and the Tigers will take time to settle their spine and will rookie coach Benji get them to click ? Luai's a big personality with an ego to match, could cause a few issues for Benji.
The Titans, Sea Eagles and Dolphins could all struggle to improve much on 2023.
Some early wins would help the boy's confidence. A couple of injuries to key personnel though could fk us right up, fingers crossed we have a bit of luck go our way, it is the year of the Dragon after all.

Haha I called it. So we get shafted with the first up round 1 bye and then miss magic round next year too? The NRL is such a joke, don't even bother hiding bias. Numbers don't really come into it either considering how many fans the Dragons have in QLD so the NRL literally has no excuse.

At least we don't have to travel that week and can rest up, but you could see this happening a mile away. What's next, we cop the round 2 bye in 2025?
The lack of respect for our Club is solely because of the actionsof our Board. That is where the blame lies, look no further.

AJ Brimson is going to be playing centre this year. Will oppose Suli in round 1. I'd be running Moses at him all day, and plenty of shape too with Sloan out the back given he'll need to learn to defend at centre, something that I doubt will click straight away for him.. especially if he's focused on Suli running a hard line to his inside shoulder.
