In many respects it was a boring ass game. It was mainly the pace of it, and the close score for a good chunk of it that made it of some interest. Better team won, no doubt. Penrith outplayed the Storm.

Panthers forwards just far too good. Fisher-Harris had a huge first stint. Katoa the only one who ever really looked threatening for the Storm. Tui, King, Macdonald, Welch couldn't keep up and drowned.

Munster/Hughes kicking game was an absolute castastrophe. Constantly dropping the ball twenty metres out where when their players caught them, they were immediately swarmed. Game wasn't as close as the score shows. Penrith were always in control.

Commiserations to Storm fans. I thought the no try by the Storm had a hand under the ball in an angle which the Fox reply showed, but ch 9 did not.

A great day for our side in winning 4 in a row, I can hardly believe it.

Always in control baby.

It's true. We dominated. From the first minute. We barely lost a set in defence.

Just an incredible sporting identity. The whole country is in love with the boys in black.

Can anyone not love Penrith? The good guys win again. Amazing.

Overall, I thought our entire squad had too much finals experience for the Storm as it showed in that first half, and became evident in the final scoreline.

EDIT: Just an observation, we have now beaten teams in grand finals in Victoria, NSW, Canberra and Queensland. Is this another record?

Tonight is the perfect occasion to remember the players, coaches and fans of teams who deserved the premiership experience and glory but were denied because the Melbourne Storm club have at their heart an unapologetic cheating culture.

It’s very important to remember because everyone seems to want to forget.

Their salary cap cheating stands in stark contrast to Penrith dominating despite constantly shedding talent due to the salary cap. Penrith have shown it can be done have you the heart and culture, Melbourne had a choice, and they chose to cheat rugby league.
