Adam Gee in last years grand final is probably the best in recent history. He let the teams play.

Klein will decide he needs to influence the game if one team is dominating. Can’t possibly let the better team build up a healthy lead. If they do he will do everything in his power to get the other team into the contest

Real talk though, connections like that should be accounted for. In English soccer you're barred from refereeing games you may have a connection to. For example, if you grew up a Sheffield United fan you're barred from reefing their games, but also Sheffield Wednesday games.

He's just a bad ref who likes to keep games closer if he can. That's why the nrl like him it's better for viewers than blow-outs.

Yeah what they do isn't complicated it's just fast and coordinated. Grant running on a quick PTB or Papenhausen getting on the outside of a defender.

This is where we miss Spencer.

His ability to trample mediocre defensive hookers and utilities was a huge boon.

That said if we hold the ball and Klein keeps out of it the KPI for the game is to have Grant set a new single game record for most tackles.
