Lul.

Well I was right about Manly. Tom T is on 18 games so far and might hit 20. Brooksy has been a stud and they've made the 8 (With a bit of luck they would have been top 4).

Warriors/Broncos shit their pants this season. Eels like Rabbits had injuries but the former were extremely disappointing. A lot of reputations are in tatters at the Eels.
Eels. Rabbitohs. Broncos
All 3 grand final team's
How they have become rubbish 😔
And top 5 now
All last 5 NRL winners
1st time last 5 NRL winners
Finish top 5
Storm
Panthers
Roosters
Sharks
Cowboys
Very interesting 🤔

The race for eighth spot isn’t as exciting as it looked a month ago.
Kevvie can talk it up as much as he likes, and Ponga can reclaim his Dally M form, but reality is Broncs, Knights and Raiders are done.
I agreed with you at the time but wanted to bump!!

I think Panthers will have a Storm like season. Get through the season finishing somewhere in or around the top 4. But not really play to their potential until the finals.

Each regular season they have gotten worse. But each finals season they have improved. Not saying they do 4 in a row. But I expect that theyre having trouble showing up week in, week out for regular games.

Top 4:
Broncos
Warriors
Panthers
Roosters

5th to 8th:
Souths
Cowboys
Storm
Eels

Just missing out on the 8 IMO after hovering around most the season.
Raiders
Sharks
Knights

Unless Turbo is fit and firing. Manly are my spoon prediction. DCE another year older, Brooks is a proven loser and Turbo hasnt looked good in a long time.

Tigers to climb the ladder to 13th. Dragons, Dogs, Titans etc. to have poor seasons with a few highs but a lot of lows.
This could be quite accurate.

Dream grand final: Penrith v Roosters.

But there is absolutely no chance that the Roosters can beat Melbourne to get there.

So the path is via the Sharks. They beat the Storm today putting them on the opposite side of the draw. Penrith beat the evil Storm in the prelim and we all get the Sydney based grand final we truly want.

2022 all over again please.

I'm not denying Penrith were great but Roosters are going out in straight sets if they play like that again.

No other team will apply that much pressure to the Roosters.

It was a same old same old performance from them. Ill discipline and bad kicking. But they've been doing that all year, it's how they play. Other teams just haven't taken the advantage.

If they are given enough chances they can create points. They are every chance to win their semi the Roosters.

Regardless a Sharks win today is for the good of the game tbh. It opens up the other side of the draw. So many interesting outcomes at that point including Penrith getting dumped out by the Storm in a prelim. You could have a 2016 grand final rematch potentially. Even a 2018 rematch is available.

Storm v Penrith is a boring outcome. Sharks need to do their part today.

Storm losing would make it interesting. But theyre going to pump Sharks and they will destroy whoever they face in week 3.

Especially if they were just going through the motions waiting for finals like Panthers have been.

You're spot on

Sharks winning today is the only way this finals series gets interesting otherwise we may as well just skip straight to the GF.

Don't think it will happen though.

Also don't think we will have much issue next week against dogs/manly. Either of them at SFS is a far cry from Penrith at Penrith. Dogs capitulating the last two weeks and Manly bipolar at the best of times.

That's why the dream is alive.

A Sharks win today will make things very interesting. One side of the draw blows wide open.

A bipolar Manly is probably the last thing the Roosters want. Manly would be likely to beat the Roosters well then capitulate in the prelim. That said, I'm not even confident of them getting through today.
