I agree, that instance isn't why the rule was brought in. He was directly in between the dummy half and the player who was going to receive the ball.
It was bought in due to merkin Smith doing 360s and firing into blokes hunched on the ground.

Cam mcinnes and whoever the f**k it was today are the only 2 penalised since.

He actually plays better when he has to be the main man. Playing the supporting role and he turns into the dancing queen.

yeah it’s been very obvious today. When Nathan’s there he really sticks to a 20m section to the left of the posts and doesn’t move.

Nah Harry Grant got penalised a few times and rightfully so. He was doing it to players laying on the ground when he could have clearly thrown it over them. That's what it's supposed to be for.
