Bad read in defence then milked it

Nah he read it fine. The ball was already in the hands of the player out the back when he wrapped his arms around the decoy to make the point he was blocked in cover. That one is always a no try when the decoy is caught in a sliding defensive line.

I do think the tackled in the air should have been a penalty try with some of the more liberal rulings we saw last year.
