NRL Pre-Season Challenge 2024: When, where each team will play

The 2024 NRL Pre-Season Challenge kicks off on February 15 and features 16 matches across two weekends of intense and intriguing clashes.

One of the most packed Pre-Season trial schedules we've had in a long time which is going to be pretty hectic but it will be really, really good for us and it's probably what we need after what happened this Season.

Manly up on the Central Coast again like last year will be great, the Charity Shield being back in Sydney will be huge, and then the last trial against the Roosters will be great for some of our NSW Cup boys to get a fine tune.

It all sounds pretty awesome to me.

Only thing that is a bit of a bummer is the scheduling of the All Stars game. It falls a day before our Charity Shield game next year, which means our All Stars players won't compete in the shield. So potentially no Trell, Jack, Cody, Shaq, or Tassy. That will make the shield a lot tougher, but it is what it is.

Can’t see us winning the Charity Shield then mate not that it really matters. AJ will be in the indigenous side too I reckon. Maybe Munro will play FB, surely he won’t make the All Stars game. I guess if worst comes to worst Jacob Gagai might play at FB.

I said Merry Christmas in the draw thread, well, today feels like Christmas for two reasons! Not only do we get the draw today, but most of the squad returns to Pre-Season training as well!! Oh man, what a day!!

That includes Trell, Jack, and I believe guys like Cody, Cooky, Stretch etc. I'm pretty sure it's everyone in the squad who wasn't involved in internationals.

This is probably the earliest we would've had pretty much everyone back in a long, long time and I hope that bodes well for the Season ahead. No doubt we have a lot to work on and fix so I hope the boys bunker down from day one today and just rip into it.

Today we get to see Jackie Wighton in our colours for the first time!! Keppie too!!

Pretty bloody pumped!

Good on Trell for still going to training. I can't imagine how tough that would be for him. Hopefully it's a good indication of where his head is at for 2024.

Yep, from what I know, that's correct. Karapani was sacked for a number of discipline issues. Kalo Kalo is still there.

Kelpie is a smart shrewd signing.
He is rugged and not scared keeps coming at you.
Never liked playing against him.
There is Shiq, Suluka-Fifita and now Kelpie.
We now have some tough take it -out -of -opponents players in the pack. Start playing them together, at least orff the banc. Demetriou has to show smarts this and demand Latrell play at least 18 games. No excuses just stay on the field or ship him out!!

I’m ok with him staying as a back up option.
Although I think some of these other kids could leap frog him in the pecking order.
Te Hau is an option but they really rate Mellars so I could see him pushing up into Reggie’s with some solid performances
