Well TBH i think everyone should care what Politis thinks. He runs a tight ship over there and its been successfull for the best part of almost 30 years so he obviously knows what his doing.

Funny inside story on Latrell Mitchell.

Roosters had offered him $800k to resign at the time, Politis was quoted as saying ive looked after him and his family long enough he should show some loyalty.

He pulled the contract from him and told him to get f***Ed* after he was shopping around without telling the Roosters.

You need strong people like that to make big calls and decisions to show that noone is bigger then the club.

Perfect example with Mitchell Pearce long time prodigal son. Told him he can go cause he wasnt going to win them a premiership. Went out and signed Cooper Cronk and won 2 in a row!!!!

Burgess should have told us he was going to England earlier so we could have had a crack at AFB but everything was on his time!!!

In all honesty Johnston time should have been up before till the fans stepped in!!

Reynolds was the tough call that they made, i think it was right he is always injured.

Need some strong people running the club and Bennet is the one as he doesnt care about hurting peoples feelings.
I still don’t care what politis thinks he’s got nothing to do with the Rabbitohs

Brian to’o from panthers being shopped around he would be handy pick up
Huge shock to hear this news but it would be the best thing this club could do to snare this bloke. Huge metres from the backfield and absolute try scoring freak to boot. Plus plays right side. Wouldn't come cheap but would be worth every cent if we could somehow fit him in the cap.

I wonder if we're one of the "select" clubs they have been speaking to? And what is going on at Penrith that this bombshell news has come about? Or does he want to go to the Dogs to play with his mates that have all gone there? He has become good mates with Latrell during Origin too.

is this Trent Elkin any good??

Based on Parras performances and injury tolls they seem to be unfit also.

any news about him??

We need someone tough and that will smash them. I remember being at the Roosters and had a trainer call Ben Gardiner whos currently one of the assistant coaches at Penrith Panthers. Damn he was hard but it made us tougher and resilient to anything the game had to throw at us as we knew we were well prepared and had harder sessions then games.

Good on ya Sammy!

And honestly, this isn't a bad result for us future wise. I think the longer he stays over there and learns his trade, the better. Come 2027, I think that would be the perfect time to bring him back to the club if he wants to.

Highly agreed. Hopefully his apprenticeship up north goes well and brings success down to us just as the way Madge did. Smell a premiership cooking 2028.

Wowwww sounds like there could be some truth to this after all. Sheesh.

Unfortunately, I don't think we'd be in the market for him, probably not even close unless we really took the broom through the place but I'm not sure that would really be worth it?

Plus, we know Wayne doesn't like paying big money for wingers so don't get your hopes up Souths fans. If he's to leave Penrith, he'll end up at the Tigers or something like that I bet.

Crazy stuff.
