NSWRL Competitions Manual always contains this information every year.Given we are moving closer to the final series. Is anyone aware of how they will be run this year?

I think that might be his junior club, going off the old pie adsJackson Garlick, the Glebe veteran who retired midseason last year, is back playing with the South Eastern Seagulls, alongside George Burgess. The Seagulls are coached by John Sutton and assisted by Jai Arrow.
My guess would be each club would nominate a player and then someone at the NSWRL would choose the winner. It is possible that the decision maker didnt actually watch any games. How were the RMC and Shield awards assessed?
No criticism of Garvey, he certainly has been good in the 2 semis, but it seems strange that the SS award did not go to a player from one of the 6 teams that finished above Manly in the table. While I am sure there are several players that could have won the award, Garvey was more than a worthy winner of the RM award. He has played very well all season and Glebe missed him when he wasn't there.
I would not be surprised if the Referees had some say,
Now I know the system, I can understand the results. For my money Saints McCann Livingston was the standout in SS - a powerful runner both in the middle or on an edge, 12 trys for the season. All teams nominated a player of the match (one from their club and one from their opponents) for each regular season round. Not sure how the calculations were done from there, but in RMC, it would be difficult to find a better player than Craig Garvey in 2024.
Fair call, I should have included him in my list of possibles. He was the only player to appear in the 19 games for St Marys SS, as Sub Laban played one game in RMC.Now I know the system, I can understand the results.
