And by logic, a joke that 99.9% of the world doesn't know about. Are you typing Bombres on purpose?
Is this some sort of Aussie Rules joke that we don't know about?
Ch7 usually has a sydney team and a qlnd team on their main channel in those states. Other games not featuring those clubs are on 7 mate. Can you explain what you mean there? You are (correctly) stating that Aussie Rules is shown on 7Mate (a secondary channel), but then go on to say they wouldn't let there games be shown on secondary channels?
It needs some clarification.
As for the AFL ratings for ANZAC Day, that game is quite literally there biggest game of the year bar finals, so thats basically there Origin done for the year.
Tell us more about afl on television. It’s really interestingCh7 usually has a sydney team and a qlnd team on their main channel in those states. Other games not featuring those clubs are on 7 mate.

Which is nothing new.In this particular case, it will have dragged over viewers from the News. Even the average is probably inflated because of this.
Reach will be published every week, and make its way into Tweets and end of season totals, you may have to come to accept that.Reach is patently more prone to distortion from the halo effect than Average. Clearly absurd to place Giants/Lions higher than Magpies/Bombers in the ratings.
The best counterargument seems to be "doesn't matter, everyone knows it's rubbish". Begs the question, why are ratings agencies publishing rubbish? And why are other sites and Twitter pages regurgitating rubbish?
Even the AFL CEO wouldn't have the gall to cite the 2 million Giants rating as proof Fumble is taking over Western Sydney, but how do we know these phoney numbers won't find their way into end-of-year totals?
Which is nothing new.
Thus Reach doesn't address anything significant. Just additional detail, of passing interest only.
