Cult like, totally oblivious to the outside world. equally unaware of the on-coming storm.

F-ball CEO`s not so ignorant, reported from the recent f-ball ceo annual get together, we`re losing the initiative to NRL, have to start to start copying more things they do.
Copying? Like SOO? Like an independent commission? Like Friday night games? Like a central stadium that caters for 80k fans (How’d that work out for ya BTW?) Expansion into enemy territory? Damn, the Storm have been top 4 for the last 20 years, still can’t buy a fan though, roofed stadium etc, yeah we really need to copy you lol, we could play at grounds that suburban AFL teams deem unsafe and too small, but we aren’t there yet.

The vast majority of AFL fans couldn’t give a flying f**k about which code is bigger, NRL fans thrive on it because your actual game is so boring they need other stimulus, that and a recent study proved RL fans on average have almost identical DNA as Neanderthals, only a 0.001% difference, which is why RL is called Neanderball, and it’s the reason you play with a synthetic ball because players were eating them, everyone with a functioning (human) brain knows AFL is king in Australia

For those wondering what a piece of filth Jacko is have a look at post ten in this thread

And post 1382 in this thread

He frequently gets banned, comes back under a new ID, writes more filth and after a time gets banned again. Mods need to remove him.

And read post 11 below. You’d have to assume anybody who would write a post like this is severely mentally deranged?

You've proven his point with your rant, the AFL used to be the leader and innovator with all those things you've listed and as AFL execs have pointed out, that has now flipped and the AFL is looking over the fence at Magic Round, Vegas and Night Grand Finals and realising that the NRL is the one now innovating and the AFL trying to immitate.

You also say AFL fans don't care about the code war (which I assume you include yourself in that statement), but you feel the need to come and post on a RL site.

Your last statement is also pretty curious... NSW and QLD make up about 55-60% of the population and here RL is King.

Your little fumbleball hissyfit (so cute when your mad you f-ball fans)) is a prime example of what happens when cult members are suddenly exposed to the real world, denial followed by anger.
But don`t worry your exec`s know what`s going on, in fact their first attempt to grab back the initiative, an overhaul of club logo`s, so big time (and hilarious), should excite and placate the cult members for a bit longer that all is right with the world, i.e. the tiny world that f-ball exists in.

LOL

no wonder why the fumblers don’t talk about ratings

they are getting crushed

kind of. About 25% of AFL FTA matches havent got ratings attached, should be worth 4-5 million. The league component includes Rep fixtures.

Sevens FTA coverage of the 2024 AFL H&A season has seen 138 matches with a 47.423 million total for the season. The per match average audience is 344,000, with the per match reach average 1.482 million, The broadcast average is 499,000. (Broadcast is the Seven programming per VOZ)

48 matches had no ratings reported on VOZ - these are generally games shown in one or two minor markets - we dont receive breakdowns on weekends any more, while a further 21 matches werent shown on FTA television in any market.

Nines FTA coverage of the 2024 NRL H&A season has so far seen 77 matches with a total of 40.281 million for the season at an average of 523,000 per match and an average reach of 1.293 million,

With Representative fixtures the NRL has had more than 54 million viewers on Nine this season.

Only 2 matches have gone unreported on Nine this season.

These ratings will be firmed up during the week as this weekend is yet to consolidate. BVOD will not be available until later in the week.

The AFL isnt looking at going to Vegas. And AFL Night grand finals have been speculated about annually since the first night final in '93. You can set your calendar by it.

Vlandys is doing great things for the NRL: - you cant really expect others to not try successful ideas. Its the way the world works. The AFL cant do Vegas. The AFL cant do expansion to NZ or PNG, and other than a third WA side, its expansion options in Australia are limited and not really cost effective.

That said the AFL also does itself no favours. AFLX was half arsed crap. It killed off Origin in the 90s with the full connivance of clubs and players. It has never fully embraced Thursday night football. It put teams in stupid places before more deserving and better supported areas.

A strong NRL is good for sport because it should make the AFL realise that it cant just f**k around any more.
