Pitty it doesn’t generate cold, hard, CASH!!! Whilst we all love Mah and Pah’s milk bar and Ron’s Garage, and I’m sure there were 200,000 gathered around a portable B&W with a coat hanger aerial in PnG (just in time for din dins) it doesn’t really stack up against Telstra, KFC and Maccas.
It's true, our game has been poorly administered for a couple of decades following a devastating civil war that set us back. The NRL roaring back to life nowadays must be making you a bit nervous to be on here telling us how good the AFL is

RL is King with 60% of the population, Origin - Australia's biggest sporting event and a small but rapidly growing international game.... Oh and Australia's best sporting administrator in charge that is hell bent on raising the revenues of the sport to new heights.

We are going to Perth, Christchurch and unlocking more talent from PNG and the Pacific, you are going to uhhh Tasmania. Good luck stopping the juggernaut.

That’s why you get the big bucks lol, maybe next time, or the one after that hahahah

AFL rules supreme, no one (almost literally) gives a f**k about Neanderball in all but 2 states.
2 states is an AFL house throwaway line... Yeah two states that equal 60% of the population.

Oh and New Zealand, Oh and a pro comp in England, oh and pro clubs in France, oh and PNG, oh yeah and we are widely adored in the Pacific Islands.

Good on you for dominating Tas and Adelaide though

Are you talking about all the money the AFL pisses up against the wall trying to make Aussie Rules popular in Sydney? Yeah, all the kids use thier free Aus Kick balls to play touch footy lol

AFL the no 1 sport in the 2nd biggest state and 2 states with a combined population smaller than Sydney! yep,AFL is definitely no 1 :100::100:
Lol, how long can the NRL afford to keep Melbourne top 4? Do you honestly think Melbourne are just a great club who’ve made finals off their own bat since the days of Christ? Sooner or later they have to finish bottom 4, now they average home crowds in the hundreds whilst being successful, they will need to lock fans in to average 1k when storm clouds appear,
and as usual those poor suspecting punters will gain free entree, everyone know’s no one pays to go to a Storm home game.

When you think about it, RL is the perfect game for Imbeciles and inbreeds, nothing is required from the neck up, just catch the all weather synthetic ball and throw it backwards, it’s British Bulldog with an easy to catch ball, not a lacquered leather ball like AFL use.

Your State of origin, otherwise known as the Pacific Island cup is successful, but let’s call it what it really is shall we.

Also, how hard is it to find an “Expert” with a vocabulary that doesn’t resemble a 10 year old who was born addicted to crack?

Thank you, I’m here all week.

Attendances plus ratings gives you your total audience. NRL is the clear winner. AFL has bigger crowds because they have first class suitable stadiums for all their teams. Many NRL teams' attendances are capped by ground capacity.

Here's some ways the NRL could boost the league's average attendance up closer to 30k...

New Olympic sponsored 65k Suncorp, Broncos can now push up towards a 50k average and beyond

Dolphins continue to grow their fan base to 25k and beyond.

New Auckland stadium getting the Wahs past 30k

Roosters continue to build towards 25k and Souths move back to Allianz to bring their average up over 20k

Dogs and Tigers get that 45k Liverpool stadium built which would bring them both up over 20k and building over 25k in good times.

Sharks ground brought up to 18k, then they, Dragons, Manly play key marquee fixtures at Allianz to bring the average for all three up over 20k.

Canberra, new stadium bringing the Raiders' average to 20k

Storm and Western play a marquee fixture at Docklands and Optus respectively to push averages for both towards 25k.
Dogs and south’s can get to 30k

souths going back to what was their second home will be huge

I'll give you a pass with the casual racism because I know AFL fans aren't used to it but we have many races and cultures that play our sport and yes, there are many Polynesians born in Australia that are entitled to play State of Origin like anyone else from those respective states.

You are one of the culprits.

Most comments from you is gobbling Wookies private area's, Wookie is not going to screw you buddy.
What’s hilarious is how they try and gatekeep a pro afl narrative.

Like just because they collate the data means they have a monopoly on its interpretation lmao

luckily for me I’ve found another source which I’m more than happy to quote

Your posts here are diabolically stupid and biased. Elsewhere you write endless drivel. But on this thread your posts are utter crap.
