Aussies are looking for a challenge though
I don't think England will win the Ashes but I think many will be surprised at how competitive they are.

Welsby, Smith, Williams, Lewis, Thompson and Walmsley are all world class and will be joined by NRL hardened players like Dom Young, Farnsworth, Radley, Bateman, Burgess, Pryce, Pearce-Paul and Dodd (signed with Souths for 2025).

Sadly the glamour has gone compared to the first half of the 90's when people knew some of the British players back then :confused:

Test matches will be played at the end of the year

the ideal scenario will always be stopping the nrl for four to six weeks and having origin and the pacific cup / bowl on consecutive weeks together with women’s versions
