Surprised Isa got another 1 year deal from the club, but he's been a great servant. Over 200 appearances for the club, and very well regarded in the community as well. Suspect he'll be phased out a bit over the next season, with Sam Walters from Leeds coming in and the rise of 19 year old Junior Nsemba.

Ellis kicked on massively this year, after an average at best 2022. He's really developed into a pack leader, in what's quickly gone from Wigan's achilles heel at Prop, to one of our strengths. It'll be interesting to see how Matt Peet manages the 8 first team props the club now has.

Losing Taylan May in a preseason pointless game was devastating.

Yes we lost. Big time? A single point. Since we supplied 16 players at the World Cup and eight of them played in the final, we were very underdone. The start of the NRL season showed it up even more. We just weren't ready.

No excuse though, St Helens were better on the day. St Helens are a good club and the people of the town are similar to Penrith. Working class, salt of the earth and tough buggers. The only difference is they train in cold and snow in the off season. We train in searing heat.

I disagree. It is a huge honour for the club. A player can get injured at any time, you can't wrap them in cotton wool. Cleary dislocated his finger in training. That's the reality of the game.

Use the Challenge as a game to prepare us for the 2024 season and prove that this team is truly the best in the world.

I disagree. It is a huge honour for the club. A player can get injured at any time, you can't wrap them in cotton wool. Cleary dislocated his finger in training. That's the reality of the game.

The worst thing to happen was the storm that hit before the start of the game , it dropped from about 38 to about 15 degrees in a few minutes, the rain and wind was crazy . All our early season losses were in the rain from memory.

Wife and I had to leave at HT. The weather made it impossible for us to remain at the ground.

Firmly in the yes camp regarding a WCC win.

Running out reserve graders would be an insult. We ran with our best last time and got towelled up by a bald 37 year old hooker. And since when did losing trophies become the mantra of the Panthers?

We will go full strength again and win it this time.
