some people on twitter and totalRL are saying that the RFL haven’t put all tickets on sale at both headingley and Everton in order to keep some for when they go on general sale which I find hard to believe even for the RFL.

If tens of thousands of people pre-registered why would the RFL potentially block any sales and harm their profits?

and as for any potential redevelopment of elland rd I think it should be 50k capacity.
It’ll be interesting to see. It wouldn’t surprise me tbh. I was surprised at how quick Everton seats went. Having said that couple of days ago they said 60k sold so wont know until pre sale finishes I suppose.

If it leads to Wembley being sold out or close to it’ll be worth it

But if it’s a decider it’s going to be an awful look
I think it will push most northern fans to Everton first.

hopefully when Everton is sold out the northern fans will head south in droves but I think the Wembley test being a success depends on the number of Londoners and people from the south buy tickets.

75k sold

Minus 18.5k headingly
Minus 15k Wembley

Everton 41.5k v 53k capacity

That’s before it even goes on sale to the general public

Pretty weird everyone comes out for gb yet England v Australia series were held I. 30k stadiums

hearing different numbers of headingley’s capacity from 19k-21.5k but its actual capacity is listed as 21.5k.

this ashes series is England v Australia and not Great Britain v Australia.

One guy on twitter is saying that they’ve spoken to someone at the RFL and there’s only 500 tickets left at Everton and another is saying that they’ve shifted a tad over 20k. lol

until we get an official announcement it will all just be rumour after rumour.

So excited to watch some sport at BMD. Gonna be hard to get tix for Everton home games the first half of the season, so glad we got test footy there.

Usually pre sales arent the full allocation.

For example the Lions Tour posted they had sold out in 24 hours, turns out that was only pre sales and there were sheds load of tickets left.

Looking at this I wonder if Haas and Tino will stay for this tour and then switch for the World Cup. It would have to be some sort of incentive, tour England and under large if not sold out crowds.

I do think they will switch, just going by the press coverage.
Anyway, we will all find out eventually.

All tickets on pre sale for Everton are now sold. Be interesting to see how many they have held back for general sale.

wembley has sold about 10% of pre sale tickets in lower 2 bowls.

fans are also buying magic weekend tickets at moment so may just be a cost flow issue for wembley and they’ll pick up in next couple of months. Might have been good to have done a discount deal for Wembley if you bought a ticket for test 2 or 3.
