2025 Crowd Watch

I think those middle Bays for Level 5 North are just going to be empty right. Seems unlikely there would that many corporates? (there are so many with that lower level of the Western stand, and however the rest of Level 4 South is working).
They're not very big bays. Each holds 108 seats, so of the ones we never saw go on sale, there's only around 540 seats.

I'm sure the deal has changed, but when Pirtek first signed to sponsor the NZRL back in 2008, they received more in entitlements than that for home tests and had the opportunity to purchase additional seats at a discounted rate.

So for me logic says they should be filled (I mean what value is there holding back some of the best seats in the venue if they are unsold?), though at the same time the NZRL is full of surprises and generally not good ones.

They've taken off sale a bunch of Platinum seats from Level 5 North and have now opened up Level 4 South.
I made a mistake with the Level 4 South seats, I thought they were Platinum pricing, but theyre actually Bronze.

NZRL have also reclassified some of the seats on Level 6 South down again to try and fill the bays before kick off.

There’s a whole section that hasn’t been put on sale shown as white on the map on the top of the screen
If you're referring to Level 6 North, it's all corporate suites, so unless the companies who own them choose to use them, they won't be put on sale for tomorrow.

It's also pretty small from a capacity perspective as you can see in this picture

Unlike the south stand where the sections are a lot more evenly distributed

Updated seating map as of Saturday night. There are only 14 tickets left in the western stand, so it is prettym uch sold out. As mentioned earlier some of the level 5 north bays have now been taken off sale, whilst the eastern corner of level 4 south has been opened up.

The remaining two bays of level 6 south have been have also been put on sale. We should be comfortably over the 30K pre-sales for tomorrow, the unknown is how far over.

Looked great on tv. They should play a test there every Ashes series from now on.
100% agree with you. Atmosphere was much better than at Wembley last week.

In addition, a packed Old Trafford with an atmosphere like the 1990 Ashes test held there would also be fantastic

Highest seem to be
44k at Eden Park for the 2010 4 nations
35k at Eden Park for the 2012 Anzac test

I can't find any others of note

What a shame the sport squandered that momentum in the 2010s

I would love it if NZ pushed hard today to move tickets! Drop the price and get it out on the radio.
There are many cheap tickets already available. Devaluing the cost to an international test match doesn’t serve anyone here in the long run.

What does benefit Internationals is a full house and creating an " event" . Do that consistently, then you can move up the price.
Origin in QLD wasn't always expensive but consistently sold out, making it a must attend event! Then they lifted the price.

Funny thing about crowds is people go because it's going to be a big crowd.
