The media definitely is over hyping how much WFH is being removed. A number of companies that use to offer full remote have gone to hybrid, but the % of people who can still WFH partially has remained around the 37%-39% mark since the end of COVID.How long will that last though? Now companies are getting rid of WFH all together.
Some orgs that tried to go full time back to the office (ie. NSW Government), has softened that approach in a number of departments, either because they haven't had adequate space or were loosing too many key staff.
The likes of Atlassian & Canva still offer complete remote. Especially in the tech space, whilst the big players continue to offer such flexibility, then everyone else is going to offer some form of hybrid arrangement.
