How long will that last though? Now companies are getting rid of WFH all together.
The media definitely is over hyping how much WFH is being removed. A number of companies that use to offer full remote have gone to hybrid, but the % of people who can still WFH partially has remained around the 37%-39% mark since the end of COVID.

Some orgs that tried to go full time back to the office (ie. NSW Government), has softened that approach in a number of departments, either because they haven't had adequate space or were loosing too many key staff.

The likes of Atlassian & Canva still offer complete remote. Especially in the tech space, whilst the big players continue to offer such flexibility, then everyone else is going to offer some form of hybrid arrangement.

In principle I agree, but it's also St George Illawarra's home ground in a year they have a 6-6 Kogarah/Gong split. Accor isn't available, nor is Allianz.

Chatter around the cyclone is getting more serious by the hour. Latest modelling seems to suggest the cyclone will impact SEQ between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, worst impacts usually to the south of a storm like this. Likely to be overnight Thursday into Friday.

If I'm the NRL I'm thinking of contingencies now and implementing them no later than tomorrow evening.

I reckon by this time tomorrow the game is rescheduled.

The NRL would be looking at moving the Dolphins game to Sunday you’d think. Suncorp is free and they could play at 2 or 6 before/after the Storm game. Assuming there are no post-cyclone issues like flooding of course.

Or moved to Sydney. It helps that both sides play each other again in June so the Dolphins can host that game instead. Channel 9 will be happy as they'll be able to compete with the AFL at the same time on 7, Dolphins fans won't 100% miss out on their team at home and Souths fans get a home season opener for the first time in years

It’s a Nine game so has to be switched with Sunday nine game to make it work
Because it’s the fta game

It’s a channel nine game

So would need to switch the Sunday nine game which probably isn’t doable ?

Hard to move to Sydney, Accor is out of action and while Allianz is free they have the Swans next door at SCG at the same time. Also the ground is hosting a game Thursday and Saturday so busy time.

There's still a few options around Sydney available such as Kogarah and even Campbelltown as a double header with the Wests Tigers game. CommBank's also free this weekend

I’m not sure nine will have a choice if it has to be postponed, not ideal for anyone. With enough notice maybe they bump the Tigers game to 8pm but not sure how that would work.

Double header would be the best solution logistically

Central coast could be another option if it’s not in Sydney

Broncos still not selling individual games unless it's a one game membership......

this has happened in the past but it's less than 3 weeks from their first home game has to be some kind of record?
