And it's an oval. Just saying...TBH I don’t see Jubilee as “a cow paddock”.
The playing surface is like a billiard table for a start.
The only thing outdated is that it has a hill. But plenty of grounds have a hill.
I sit on the top level of the stand, maybe that colours my view.
Barely worth responding to..
You people wouldn't know a good looking ground if it bit you in the arse.
Just because there's a hill it doesn’t mean it's a shit ground. Kogarah is a beautiful ground to look at and watch football.
.
Cos Melbourne have the bye in Round 2 against no LOL?It's a shame that Melbourne v Penrith is on the Thursday, and the same night as a 90k+ (probably) fixture at the MCG.
If they had another day they probably would come close to selling out.
Some people like big new stadiums, some people like sitting on a hill with a tinny. I’m a hill and a tinny kind of guy. And if the game was moved to a bigger stadium further from home I’d watch the game on the Tv at home. F trecking into the city to sit in a half empty stadium and getting home after midnight..

one of the smaller ones - just manages to fit the corners of the in goalsAnd it's an oval. Just saying...
Sadly happens about once or so a year; Where it is situated is a prime, prepped & ready flood zone area.![]()

Looking ahead to some of the games this coming weekend:
Knights v Dolphins:
In the lower bays, 2 - 10 and 50 - 59 are pretty much down to single seats or sold out. On the western upper, 66 is down to single seats, whilst 64, 65, 67 and 68 are down to limited seats. 16 - 18 on the eastern upper is in a similar spot. Possibly sitting around the 16K mark currently. Hopefully will push up towards 20K by kick off.
Warriors v Sea Eagles:
Eastern upper corners (Bays 1,2 & 9) are the only ones with any significant portion of seats at Auckland. In the southern stand, there's very few seats left in the southern lower (21-23 pretty much gone, 19 & 20 majority filled). Match is well placed for 20K+. Hopefully we see them push for another sell out.
Panthers v Roosters
Panthers have pushed majority of their members into the TV arc, which should look decent on TV. In the lower bowl, 111 - 119 are sold out or down to single seats. 214 - 216 are selling into the final rows, whilst 213 & 217 are majority sold. Behind the in-goals, 105-108 and 121-124 are possibly half allocated. Most of the corporate side is sold out, so match would be around 12K-14K allocated so far. Unfortunate that the Roosters suffered such a heavy defeat last week, they have a decent supporter base out west.
Raiders v Broncos
Not sure if the Raiders are just holding back a lot of bays for memberships, but if not, this game is selling strongly. Going off Ticketek, the black are what bays are currently sold out or down to single seats, whilst the grey are bays that are 80% allocated.

It's really starting to do my head in (not being at the SFS).I'll say it again...
Roosters/souths/dragons/tigers to play each other twice a year every year at SFS.
In our case it enables us to take more games against lower drawing teams to Gosford or elsewhere.
Beyond that, souths should be there full time.
I would also look at Manly and sharks having the odd game there, potentially against each other. They are traditional rivals and the stadium is in between each supporter base.
