What's the bet Manly fans boo DCE at Brookvale this weekend bahahahaha or maybe they'll just be Bulldog supporters in Manly jerseys, right?
I`ll lay odds they don`t, they`ve got way too much class out there to do that, they`ll respect his decision, he may even get cheered.
When we were on the hill for the Dogs/Dragons game end of last year, every time the play came anywhere near our side of the field Dogs fans would yell out "scumbag" at the ref, no particular reason, you were in front, he`d done nothing wrong. That`s class. We still laugh about it.

Dolphins vs Broncos has reached about 46k sold. Only level 7 north and restricted view (once released) to go.

Impressive considering that it's been raining since like Saturday afternoon (?) in Brisbane. + the outlook has moved back up to 20-40mm on Friday. Ugh.

Dolphins never seem to have lady luck on their side when it comes to the bigger drawing games!

Hard to believe that`s from the country that bought us the Beatles. I`m sure it would work better if it rhymed.
Though coined in Britain, the expression is sometimes perceived here as the archetypal doctrine of American discount stores.

A more elegant embodiment would be "economies of scale". AFL appear to be guided by similar principles. NRL seem intent on maximizing revenue from ticket sales rather than numbers of attendees.

Judging from LU crowd threads, NRL clubs take too many liberties with loyal supporters. Obvious disadvantage when it backfires for a particular game. Harder to quantify the enduring disenchantment of those who feel they were taken for a ride.

Suncorp update - still raining, and will be raining, but tickets are selling.

Black shading - sold out
Yellow shading - RESERVED SUNCORP MEMBERS - will look 50-75% full
Red shading - 50-75% sold
Pink shading - 20-30% sold
Green shading - 10% or less sold

I'd be shocked to see less than 42k regardless of the weather, 46-48k still possible.

Shame the Dolphins played silly games and didn't put all these tickets on sale before the weather forecast was known. This game would have comfortably sold out.

Desperately need this game to get 40K+... Saturday's weather in Sydney is going to destroy the Dragons & Sharks crowds (and wouldn't be surprised to see Manly & Wests' Sunday games significantly impacted), and games like Rabbitohs tonight & Roosters tomorrow are not selling well.

It’s Brisbane … it’s going to rain a little from time to time … maybe the QLD Govt might like to put a roof on it ?

Haha yeah. March and April can be pretty annoying in particular.

It's not really the problem once you're there - 75% of the stadium is protected by the roof. 7pm kickoff + getting home in rain affected traffic + the effort to take the kids out in the rain will be what drags this crowd down.
