Even with the top-of-the-table Doggies and the Rabbitohs going better than expected, I never thought we'd see level 6 west open for Good Friday!!

Not only are we looking to crack the 60,000 mark for a regular season game for the first time, but f**k it let's take out 70k as well.

And tickets are already moving in the new sections that have been released on both sides of level 6.

They should have just priced 'silver' at $10, weird to open the other side. I guess they feel that those open in level 6 east will sell anyway

I have a feeling they've quarantined 623-629 on level 6 west for walkups from the Royal Easter Show, and they'll also have the option of whatever's left in the rafters on level 6 east.

One of the best potential outcomes from this game are the flow on benefits for other smaller drawing club games for both the Bulldogs and the Rabbitohs at Accor this year. It's a big opportunity for both clubs to draw casual fans on a more regular basis.

I'm almost tempted to go myself now, just for the occasion, and I hate both teams!! :)

Any of the resident experts know how the other Good Friday game is tracking at Suncorp? Dolphins would be hoping for 25k+ I’d imagine.
my estimations with surface level reasons

manly v st george 17k
canterbury v souths 68k
dolphins v melbourne 25k
new zealand v brisbane 25k
easts v penrith 21k
goldie v canberra 14k
newcastle v cronulla 22k
wests v parramatta 23k (hopefully more)

215k average, which is the record

I'm thinking they're going for a flash sale of sorts. It's only what, 3k tickets. It'll be successful if they manage to sell them quickly and to people who were unlikely to go (see neutrals like above or lower propensity supporters). Hopefully they're running it conjuction with some targeted advertisement to this group of people.

Buzz on NRL 360 said 4000 tickets at $10 and no transaction fee for them.

NRL 360 and Buzz gave a pretty good shout out and weren't negative... surprisingly

For as little as $10 (and full strength beer back behind the bar) it'd be a great day to be a part of history!

Indeed.
The full-strength beer bit finally, (and thanks Chris Minns for showing some common sense) is a great enticer. Lol.
In all seriousness though, with the numbers being talked about, I can see why there might be a large contingent of randoms turning up.

Updated PAX - 46,086

-Bulldogs forum

44,767 is the pax update from The Kennel just now.

Using same formula from a few pages back

The Tuesday pax to Good Friday crowd ratio is 0.699.

If you use that as a factor to project this year's Good Friday crowd:
= pax / factor
= 44,767 / 0.699
= 64,044

Every metric is starting to point towards our first 60,000+ regular season crowd for a standalone game.

HISTORIC.

If you use that as a factor to project this year's Good Friday crowd:
= pax / factor
= 46,086 / 0.699
= 65,931

Everyone in Sydney here should get out there to make it a sell out that would be an incredible milestone.

With all of the hype that this is generating, I can see my pax factor being a conservative estimate and 65k being at the low end of the spectrum.

But I think a sellout is out of the question unless the Easter Saver is expanded and the walk up demand is unprecedented.

Cracking 70k is the ceiling IMO and a fantastic achievement.
