Not sure how NRLW rates but if it's even slightly ok, men's origin period could be a time to pause the NRL and give the NRLW a bit of clear air.

Having said that, if NRLW ratings are awful then file this idea in the bin.

That's impressive if the crowd is local. The 7:30 timeslot would have detered many fans from coming up from Sydney. I know I would have been tempted if it was an afternoon game.
