General Admission down to the last 100 tickets at Gosford. Possibly looking at 14K for tonight, though hopefully there is some late walk up/sales to help fill out the corners.
That's impressive if the crowd is local. The 7:30 timeslot would have detered many fans from coming up from Sydney. I know I would have been tempted if it was an afternoon game.

What's everyone's ideal top 8 for maximising crowds and interest? I'd go...

1. Warriors
2. Bulldogs
3. Eels
4. Dragons
5. Tigers
6. Dolphins
7. Broncos
8. Knights
For the Dragons and Wests to maximise crowds they’d need to play more regularly in bigger stadiums. I’d include the Storm and Easts in there instead.
To truly maximise crowds we need the bulldogs in the top 4 (as they are) and Easts as well as well as the Dolphins.
Sides that can’t maximise crowds include my Sharks (unless they move three boutique games a year to the SFS) Manly, Penrith and Canberra.
Souths would but they need to stop playing Thursday night games at Accor. In fact they shouldn’t play there at all.

Worth noting for the Warriors game tomorrow, there will be an increased capacity due to the A League final being played. Mt Smart has has seating installed behind the tryline on the Northern Side, as well as up higher on that hill. I think I saw capacity will increase by 2,700 with the temporary seats - with an overall capacity of 29,000.

Now, with those seats behind the tryline - the Warriors don't normally have those as they have food trucks etc set up there. Kinda respect the commitment to having that area of the ground dedicated to overall experience of the ground, rather than increasing capacity given they've already sold out their next match against Penrith.

Did the Warriors put those extra seats on sale?

With Dragons, IMO, they should play all of their Sydney games at Allianz. With Wests, it is a little tricky. They want Campbelltown to be updraded, but the council wants an increase of Tigers games first to help justify future funding. Campbelltown council wants 7 or 8 games.

Meanwhile Leichhardt is getting a $40 million upgrade. There would be pressure on the Tigers to continue to use Leichhardt as a home ground.

But overall, Tigers lose money playing at Campbelltown and Leichhardt and need to use Commbank or Allianz to help improve the bottom line.

Tigers are in an awkward position.
