2025 Crowd Watch

The Roosters are selling well up into Level 2 at the northern and southern ends of Allianz for today's game. There's been some recent events (like Women's SOO) where this approach has clouded my understanding of projected ticket sales/crowds, but historically this kind of release pattern indicates a crowd in the range of 20-25k. That would be a very good outcome against a lower drawing opposition for Sydney clubs. Day for it too.

AJ only needs 7 tries to break the record. Souths have nine games left. I think Blake Solly and co. should try and market and promote Johnston as he is closing in on the record. Instead they have been obsessed with a move to Allianz.

Something special could be happening this year.
Best case scenario is AJ breaks it at gosford in late July .. will be full house ground can be flooded with fans pretty easily ..

Way better than at an away game or at the cavernous accor

The details of the new Dolphins deal with the NT Government have not yet been disclosed. But their previous deal with Parramatta is extremely generous.
The details for both the Eels deal and the new Dolphins deals are both publicly available. All government sponsorship/event deals are available under FOI if they're not included in respective department reports.

I doubt the WA Government was quite so forthcoming as their NT counterparts. Therefore, the Dolphins have every right to charge what they feel fit.
The WA deal was still worth 1.5m over 3 years to the Phins. Regardless of whether the NT deal is worth more, they still had a contractual obligation to the WA government this year.

What evidence do you have that they did "not engage with the community"? Publicly available information indicates otherwise. Did they not fulfill their obligations under the WA agreement?
The Phins didn't travel over till Wednesday, they held no open training sessions or joint events with community clubs or WARL, these were all listed as obligations under their WA agreement.

Digital marketing ads on Meta, LinkedIn, Google, Bing, etc are all available to search up, there are none for the game. There is nothing as well for other major advertisers like oOh!, etc.

Anyway, does it really matter what I say? You've made your view on some of these subjects very clear over the past few years.

The Broncos get the best attendances in the world Rugby/League and yet they're shet on the field. And the Sharks get the worser then worse crowds and they're half decent. Should be the other way around, we only want teams to win who have a massive following! And the Sharks don't fit in this description 🙄

Well not really, they had a trial storm vs broncos back when I dunno but it had a very good turn out

official crowd was 11700. Didn’t include kids under 12 who got in free. I was on the organising committee. The north Hobart football club reckoned it was closer to 16000 all up. I had a chat with Roy for half an hour before the game. What a great guy. We thought the Storm would come back and we’d build from there as it was a huge day for the game. They did. After the comp folded.

I think the club has been selling parts of these bays directly through the various services, just based upon how scattered some of the seats are in those bays.

Hopefully we are looking at another 20K+

What's the cash component for the new NT deal? I don't think NT Major Events has reported that quickly, unless you know better?

The fact is the NT Government hasn't yet disclosed the cost of the deal.

The Dolphins played in Townsville last Saturday night. In your estimation, what day should they have then made the journey to Perth? Your expertise on player recuperation and travel schedules is clearly better than an NRL club.

What were these events? Are the Fremantle Roosters not a community club?

What's this? Looks like an open session captains run to me.

Was a digital advertising target a KPI of their WA agreement? If so, how short were they?

Given everything you say, the Dolphins clearly have a compliance breach for this agreement. Will the WA Government be seeking to reclaim funds or withholding any future payments? I'm sure the West Australian media and their known hostility towards our game will be all over this scandal.

But in reality it just seems you've got clouded judgment on this as your position leaves more questions than answers.

Hopefully they can go into the 40s with the Wahs coming into town
Already sold to single seats with nil to very few to be released. Wahs will bring lots of fans (particularly in level 7, as that is an area not totally dominated by Broncos members). Level 7 is also where lots of the noise comes from because the noise retainers push the sound back in. Atmosphere will be off the charts, but a shame it's not a Friday night.
