i changed my prediction i don’t think 70 is gonna happen, im thinking low to mid 60s

63k is my prediction, if we played anyone but riff or cronulla i think 70k would be easy get maybe not manly but they travel bit better these days

There are 3 teams that wouldn't hit the 70 k mark this weekend. Particular without the Bulldogs.
Manly, Sharks and Penrith.

Any other Sydney team would easily cross that threshold vs Bulldogs.

That is depressing numbers from the Panthers fans. I know they aren't a big club, but this 4 year premiership run is really wasted on them.

Tell that to all the young children of Australia my friend.

Their whole weekend revolves around watching our great team play. They absolutely love the Penrith Panthers.

The Panthers are a small club and it is a small area. They should have been relocated after superleague.

This it our rebuilding year and we didn't have a home ground. Nathan and Ivan will win 2 or 3 more at least.

Blaize is 19
Casey is 19

Give both another pre season, We won't have bums like Laurie and Schneider in the side. This was the one chance and the other teams blew it

Then you would never have seen the greatest team you have laid your eyes on.

Some things are just meant to happen.

Pretty close to the mark.

If 50k sold currently - means 12.5k Panthers fans and 37.5k Bulldogs fans. Gotta say pretty disappointing from Panthers fans. Feels like their fanbase has dried up this year. Strange considering they've won 4 in a row.

Monday Ticketek was being shit, I didn't use my members code but got 8 seats in 113.

Not in either fans bay, no code used. There is zero way they can tell I am a Panthers fan.
So this data is flawed

I cant deny the results but boy they play a boring brand. For that reason I say the Eels team of the early 80s is the best. They were winners and entertainers.

Yeah I suspect it's more 85/15.

Express train and 35min drive on a Sunday is to much for Riff fans!

So there are no neutrals going to the game? This is probably from Monday.

Which Panthers side had several Bays held back. That is why I got mine in the normal sale, too many good seats were held bacm

Yes I think that's a fine point to make.

All of LU should listen to T-Boon more.

I’m gonna say 55-60k on Sunday. Still a great crowd but could have been more. I think the dogs form dip and panthers being so used to success probably contributing. Hope I’m wrong and we can get 70k but looking at the available tickets on the map and comparing back to the dogs v Souths and dogs v eels games we are a bit behind. Dogs / Souths the whole bottom level was sold out leading up to the game and tickets were on sale both level 6s. Maybe a bit misleading as there was GA / members down the bottom but hard to see this game matching Good Friday with only 1 level 6 open so far

The period of success the Panthers are seeing now will definitely convert into a larger fan base in 10-20 years time, I mean you only have to look at what happened with the Roosters after their run of Grand Finals in the 2000s & 2010s as an example.

That club went from average 8K-10K for most of the 80s & 90s to over 25K this year. The fact Penrith's catchment has exploded population wise in the past decade plus sustained success puts them in a great position in the 2030s & beyond.

Eels their 80's run
Dragons
Dogs
Souffs

All those clubs now are in this situation because of sustained success at some point.

It takes a generation or 2.

Penrith have a huge area space but not a big population, that will change in that period of time
