That finale 8 weeks of no travel and a very late bye is perfect. The players get over travelling and being away from home at the back end. Getting 2 points and a rest in Rd25 is perfect for those niggling injuries.

Such negativity.
I reckon they hit the ground running.

AFB gives us the starch we need up front, and Tricky and Nicho figure out how best to operate together.
Tricky calling the shots, and Nicho chiming in to lay on the icing when he needs to.

Aside from the early traveling I don't see much to worry about pre the first bye.
They can steel themselves for 3 weeks heading in, rest up, belt out another month, another rest, then it's in the home stretch.

If they're serious, they're conkers deep in the 8 by then.
Bang on man.
Better going for grit, than flying like superman during the season only to fall with a thud come finals time.
Vegas is dumb but it ain’t about me as an old school supporter anymore - it’s about performing like an outfit on and off the field at the highest level.
No better time to prove it

I hate to lose articles, even when we have a soft draw I think they are ridiculous.

we beat everyone in the 8 last year except the panthers. No reason we can’t again.

True, but getting up for those games took a lot out of the team and when we were off by just a little, we got smashed by the top sides.

You have to beat the best, but an easier draw at least gives you opportunities for more resting of players and getting some much needed wins and for and against. The concern if we have to play out of our skins go get to finals, is there may be nothing left.

Or with out start, we could come flying home from 0-8 to still make them!!!

The Panthers game looks a great way to start.

Edwards and Cleary probably won't play.
They are going to have to throw Talagi in at 5/8.

Basically whole spine out and the bright lights of Vegas which is somewhere we could go well.

All I ask is the refs clamp down on the play ball straight up, roll under penalty, and let's put on a grind in Vegas

So we raised the membership and have 9 games at home only. Is that right?
Sorri, Ozzi…

I forgot to mark the Titans and Knights games as home games - I’ve edited the post…

Also, the Perth game (Rd. 6) and Magic Round are home games…

So, essentially, we only have 2 out of the first 10 games at home!!!

By Rd. 13 - only 3 home games!
