Craig Bellamy has confirmed he will continue his legendary tenure as Head Coach of Melbourne Storm, informing the Club of his decision to remain at the helm for the 2026 season.

In some ways, the Titans can wait for Craig Bellamy. They could persist with Des Hasler, contracted until the end of 2026. Then, Bellamy finishes up with Storm, moves to the Gold Coast to be closer to family, and can take over.

This plan, though, has many risks and what-ifs. Bellamy may have a change of heart and choose to remain with the Storm for even longer. And if the Broncos couldn't lure Bellamy with an open cheque book, what chance will the Titans have? If the rot continues under Hasler, the Titans may have to scrap the Bellamy plan and move on. This plan has many what-ifs, and the Titans can't necessarily afford to wait on a plan that may never come to fruition anyway.

I'm calling it.....considering the training facility and squad at his disposal, Payten for mine is the shittest coach in NQ's 30 year history.

Flanagan has to be getting up there. He told his team at half time to complete their sets and get to the kick.

We're talking about the worst running game in the comp with the worst kicking game in the comp. And the coach told them to go one out and kick in the 2nd half with a 12 point lead.

So the Sharks fielded the ball with no pressure at the 30 every set while the saints had to make contested catches every set on their 10 the whole 2nd half. No wonder they lost it 24 to zip.

Ah man, that was an awful press conference. He blamed the kick defence and run defence. No mention of the the useless runs and especially the useless kicks at the end of sets and penalty kicks into touch.

Does he understand that continual contested kicks lead to mistakes? Work out why they are happening and ensure the other team doesn't get the chance to make them every single f**king set.

I went to all NQ's away games in sydney in 1995 and last night completely reeked of that era. It was excusable back then due to a myriad of reasons, but last night was a disgrace and I feel sorry for poor young Kaiden Lahrs having to debut with those spuds around him on the field.

Paytens retention and recruitment is an abomination. Players like Kyle O'donnell and Karl Lawton have no place in the top grade, they're Qcup players at best.
