Totally agree with this. The momentum of the contact threw Shipley sideways. It’s ingrained to hang on when you make a tackle. The only way the result could be avoided is by letting go of the attacker. And any player doing that would find himself in the Centrelink queue sooner rather than later. And everything happens in a split second.
Given the bunker goes back 2 or 3 plays some times to nit pick, it really calls into question how it was missed when Butcher limped off so surely it was at least worth being put on report.
